More good news from Eddie and Crystal! Crystal has managed to land a job at the John Radcliffe. It’s the same hospital that Angie used to work at. Hooray for the legislation that prevents employers discriminating against applicants because they are pregnant! She won’t however, qualify for more than the minimum maternity pay. Never mind! The main thing is that she’s got a visa to come to join Eddie and a job to go to when she does. It starts in January, so they’ve had a tough time deciding whether she and Ricky should come here in time to celebrate Christmas with his family here, or stay back in Jamaica for one last Christmas with her own family
We've been busy getting the attic rooms ready for Eddie, who is arriving on Saturday. Peter is very excited (in a quiet, Peter sort of way) at the thought of seeing Eddie again and of meeting little Ricky for the first time.
