Lost, stolen or strayed

We’re having a bit of an anxious time. Three of Stan’s pigeons were competing in a race last week and, so far, only two have arrived home. We keep telling one another that pigeons often get blown off course and yet still arrive back eventually, but I don’t think we’re really managing to convince each other!
