Lucy's off school, but Jonah and I still have to turn in to work, so Martin took her out for the day in his narrow boat. You may remember the Maid of Saxony from Murder of a Martian, which took place on board. One of Martin's friends (also called Martin, as it happens) managed to get himself murdered while staying there to keep out of the way of his estranged wife. Peter got called in to investigate and that was what sparked off Martin's friendship with Lucy (in a roundabout way). If you want to know all the gen, you'd better read the book!
