Peter’s 4th grandchild was born today – a girl whom they’re calling Abigail. The big surprise is that she’s white and has inherited Peter’s red hair – in a big way! Most babies don’t really have any hair when they’re born, but little Abigail’s is long and ginger – and very straight, which is another surprise. Eddie says the midwife nearly fainted when she saw her. Crystal phoned her mum in Jamaica and they’re all trying to think whether there are any white, redheaded ancestors on their side of the family, but basically they’re just as amazed as everyone else.
