Jonah rang his friend DCI Latham today. (You may remember that she investigated the murder on the Mersey Ferry when we were up there last year.) It turns out that she’s the Senior Investigating Officer for this suspected murder at the Care Home. She has a soft spot for Jonah and jumped at the idea of him giving them a hand. So it looks as if we’re all off to Liverpool just as soon as we can get the transport and accommodation all fixed up.
