I was planning to tell you about developments in the murder enquiry, but that was all rather overshadowed by Jonah managing to choke on a piece of bread at teatime. It was his own fault - talking with his muth full as usual, because he was so excited when Andy told us that the SOCOs had found evidence that there was someone else with the victim in the little underground store room at the side of the Fellows' Garden shortly before he died. Nobody has any idea who it was, except that it was a woman with long dark hair.
But back to Jonah's choking incident. I really thought we might be going to lose him after Mike couldn't dislodge the bread and Jonah stopped breathing. If Mike hadn't been here, I genuinely think we migth have done. The ambulance arrived just as he finally got Jonah's airway clear and he regained consciousness. I don't want to go through that again - it's aged me by about a decade!
Here's a picture of Peter's Summer Pudding, with which we rounded off the meal. I'm glad it was something soft that even Jonah would have trouble getting stuck in his throat.
