Three-one! Three-one to Real Madrid! And two goals could have been avoided if the goalie had been on form. Not to mention poor Mo Saleh taken off injured during the first half. Least said, soonest mended, I think.

Ohn a more positive note, the Oxford Pride Festival got underway today with the True Colours Family Picnic in Manzil Way. It's intended for LGBTparents, but Wayne and Dean were allowed to take part on the basis that they're in the process of adopting. Dean was a bit reluctant to go, because he doesn't really like things that set them apart from "normal" society, but Wayne persuaded him. I think they made a few friends, which will be all to the good if they face prejudice about being gay parents in the future.
