The plot thickens
We went over to Reading to interview a priest who used to be at St Cyprian's at the time that the organ was installed. We were hoping that he might be able to tell us something that would help us to work out which of our two Missing Persons had become the body beneath the organ, but oh no! That would have been far too simple! Instead he's suggested yet another possible candidate - this time a young man who wandered off and was never seen again two years earlier still! Jonah has decided to make a public appeal for anyone who knows anything about what went on back then to come forward. Peter's with Fatehr Damien right now, warning him to expect to be bothered by journalists wanting to speak to him, and his congregation, in the hope of unconvering some sort of juicy scandle.
In other news, Peter has had a letter from his half-sister, Jane (whom you can read about in his Memoirs, if you're interested) inviting him to her wedding. If you know the full story, you won't be surprised that he's not keen; but it's put him in a bit of a moral dilemma, in case he's being unfair to her by refusing.
