Another busy week last week getting ready for Lucy's second year at Liverpool. I drove her up there yesterday, which gave me a chance to catch up with Joey and Ruth while I was there. Ruth is still anxious about Dominic's plans to marry Mariam, but I think she's basically OK with it really. Dom and Ibrahim put on a bit of a party for my birthday yesterday and then I came back to another one at home today organised by Peter and the others - all of which meant I didn't have time to watch the football, which is a pity because by all accounts Liverpool had a great one against Burnley on Saturday and Everton brought off a 3-2 victory over Wolves today. Not qwuite so good for Stan, with Newcastle only managed a draw against Watford. That does get them out of the relagation zone, however, and Liverpool (the only team with a clear run of wins after 4 matches this season) is back in their rightful place at the top of the table.
