Sorry for the lack of posts recently. We've been frantically busy trying to get to the bottom of two near-fatal assaults, which looked to be connected and turned out not to be. But that's all sub judice now. so I can't go into details.
Football-wise there have been mxed fortunes for our favourite clubs. Liverpool continues to extend their lead at the top of the Premiaer League after Manchester City lost to Spurs on Sunday. But then they went down 1-nil to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Jurgen is confident they can still get through to the next round by winning in the home leg, but we shall see ...
Meanwhile Everton is continuing to climb up the league with two wins on the trot to bring them up to 9th place. not so good for Newcastle languishing down at 13th, but at least they're out of the relegation zone.
