I thought I'd post this while I'm waiting for the match to re-start.
There was a bit of drama at the police station today. One of the homeless men that Gavin has befriended turned up demanding to know what we were doing to find Kenny’s killer. He asked a load of questions about what happened and then stormed out again.
We’re still waiting on Forensics to tell us if we’ve got the right car, but at least we have cleared up the identity of the man Stella arrested at the crime scene. He’s under age, however, so I can’t reveal his name.
Peter, meanwhile, was watching drama of a completely different kind in the form of Chrissie Hughes’ school nativity play. Gavin is at home on compassionate leave and Chrissie had the family car at school with her, so Peter gave him a lift to see the play. They took Ricky and Abigail with them. Ricky had a whale of a time, according to Peter, joining in the carols and shouting out at appropriate (an inappropriate) times!
Liverpool football club’s drama will be of a different kind. After the youngsters’ difficult time against Aston Villa yesterday, it’s the turn of the main players to show CF Monterrey what they’re made of in Qatar. 1-1 at half time isn't the best possible start, so let'sd hope they can get more of a grip in the second half. Jurgen needs a win to justify his decision to give this match priority over the Leage cup.
