Well, well, well! Everton are topping the table with a clean sweep of wins this season, after beating Brighton 4-2 last night. Joey will be delighted. Stan's pretty chuffed to with Newcastle having won against Burnley, but his club is still languishing at number 6 and liabel to go down today after the likes of Arsenal play today. Liverpool and Leicester (2nd and 3rd respectively) both have a game in hand which they're playing today, so my guess is that Everton's triumph will be short-lived. most likely the top spot will be decided on goal-difference, so let's hope Liverpool can give Villa a real trouncing this evening!
PM update: Oh no! Villa gave Liverpool a 7-2 thrashing. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. it will certainly be a tense time in their next Premier League match, which is a Merseyside Derby. Everton are still out at the top of the table with Aston Villa second and the only unbeaten team this season.
