Joining of materials and components can be achieved by welding, brazing, and adhesive bonding. Compared with welding and brazing, adhesive bonding has the advantage of relatively low bonding temperature. It has been increasingly used in industry and become as important as the other joining techniques in recent years. The chapter aims to give a brief introduction of adhesive bonding technology.
