Martin Read Bosley was born on January 28 1964, and lived at 16, Cromwell Close, Farringdon, Oxon.
He rode his first winner, Bit Bent, in May, 1980 at Fakenham and went on to ride over 100 more.
Trainers he rode for included Henrietta Knight, David Elsworth and Captain Tim Forster.
Always on the lower end of the scale, Martin rode 10 winners in the 1986-87, his best season.
In 1997, he retired from the saddle and took over training from his father.
