1998 February 6th - Dinner & Court
The evening ran smoothly, with the numbers restricted. Bad weather and the prospect of a hazardous journey had caused Sheriff David B Smith to call off at short notice. Bill Main, a Nairnite now living in Brora, kindly agreed to take David's place and toast "Jack Frost".
The continuing sponsorship of the superior programme/menu for the evening by UNITED DISTILLERS, producers of the localling distilled ROYAL BRACKLA MALT, was much appreciated.
Top Table & Guests L to R: Kenny MacDonald (The Piper), Colin MacGregor (Vice-pres.) Ken Scott (RCCC Snr. Vice-pres.). Ali Asher (Match Secy.) Malcolm Jones (President), Alan Bell (Moray Province), Bill Fraser (Area 10), Bill Main (Jack Frost), Jim Sommerville (Curlers Grace), Campbell Dickson (Secy/Treasurer).

1998 September 14th - Autumn General Meeting
There was some discontent at the increase in ice charges at Inverness Ice Centre. It was agreed to switch the Club's main competition, the Sandy Gunn League, to Elgin and have the KO competition for the Park Cup at Inverness. Concern was expressed that Club members living on the west side of Nairn would not be happy.
The Golf Outing played in the summer had been popular, and it was agreed that the Vice-president would be resposible for social events in the future.
The Golf View Hotel was booked for the 1999 Dinner & Court, but it was agreed to look into the facilities offered by the Newton Hotel in future.
