The President was commended on his handling of the Court which was most successful, if a bit rowdy towards the end. The theft of some ticket money left in the hotel's safe had been made good by the hotel. 89 curlers from 16 clubs attended.
The toast list included 'Neighboroughing Clubs' by Bob Pottie, replied to by Sam Macarthur (Ardclach).

Held in the Golf View Hotel, Nairn.
The president paid tribute on the passing of Robert T Mirtle. “Success in competitive curling is only part of being a curler. In giving so generously of his talent for a good story, recitation or piano, Robert was indeed the complete curler.” ( R T Mirtle had presented the Club with the president’s chain of office.)
Vice-president Alistair Kerr had found it necessary to resign on being promoted to Edinburgh. Alastair, along with David Reece, had contributed greatly to the Club during his membership. Eric McPhee was elected Vice-president, and David Adam was elected Secretary/Treasurer.
In Club competitions, Mike McInnes's rink had been undefeated in the past season's Sandy Gunn League. The Club had competed in open competitions, but the only notable success was Jimmy Asher's rink winning Moray Province Division 2.
