Alan Gilchrist (Cawdor CC) was appointed Piper to the Court. The Macarthur Cup had been won by the County, George MacArthur (Ardclach) highest up. Ardclach had won the Leven Cup.

1985 April 3rd AGM

The Treasurer reported a closing creditor balance of £451. The President congratulated Club competition winners, and those who had participated in open competitions over the past season. Notably, Graham Kerr's rink had won the Moray Province Knock-out, and Bill Millar's rink had won the Construction League. There had been outdoor curling on Loch Flemington, where the president lost to his Vice-president by one shot. The winners of the Sandy Gunn League (Bob Pottie,skip, Alan Hardie, George Milne and Tom Heggie) were presented with The Shield.

The !986 Dinner & Court was arranged for February 5th. RCCC President, W E (Bill) Muirhead, a Scottish Champion and a World Silver Medallist, has accepted an invitation to attend. James Asher (Nairn CC) has been picked for the Scottish Rotary Team to tour Canada.
