February 1st 1982 - Management Committee
Jim Whiteford had to call off his attendance at the Dinner & Court. The date clashed with the Farewell Dinner for the USA tour. Sheriff David B Smith RCCC Historian had kindly agreed to attend. The date also clashed with the Inverness Golf Club Burns Supper The Nairn Young Farmers Dance, and Forres CC 'Points' competition.
February 1st 1982 - Management Committee
Attendance at the Dinner had been only 61. Sheriff Smith had been an excellent speaker, and had not claimed expenses. The Club made a donation to the RCCC Museum Fund in lieu. Profit on the evening was £57.30.

April 5th 1982 - AGM
David Taylor presented the Match Secretary's report with the following highlights. The Annual Outing Trophy, held at Aviemore, was won by D A Kerr. The Leven Cup was won by Nairn (D Kerr, skip, A Millar, M McInnes and D Taylor), and the Town v County was won by the County. In the Moray Province League Division 1, Nairn teams finished 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. The Moray Province KO won by D H Forrester. The Ice Rink Under-25 competition was won by A Miller, G Millar, M McInnes & P Smart (Ardclach). The Area 10 'Top Ten' Competition won by E F Brown, J Asher, R T Mirtle and G Millar.
Outdoor curling at Loch Flemington had been organised by R M Pottie during the winter and this had been appreciated by the members.
David A Kerr was elected President and David Taylor Vice-president. Alan Millar was elected Match Secretary.
The Annual Subscription was increased from £3 to £4
1982 May 3rd Management Committee
The last of the club’s equipment and items of value had been removed from the old clubhouse at the ponds, to be stored at A W Mackintosh & Co Ltd., King St. This included hacks, crampits, brooms, score-boards and ice clearers.
1982 August 24th General Meeting
It was agreed to play 8 rinks in the Sandy Gunn League. Only 40 sheets of ice had been allocated from the 55 requested.
1982 November 15th Management Committee
Arrangements for the Dinner & Court on Friday 4th February 1983 were discussed. RCCC President, Sam McColm, would be unable to attend due to other committments. Past President RCCC Jim Whiteford had been persuaded by David Taylor to attend.
