Strathspey (Grantown) and Dyke were again drawn to play for an RCCC District Medal
On this occasion Grantown avenged their defeat by Dyke in 1875.

Mr Brown, Darnaway reported as the winner of Dyke CC Points competition.

The Nairnshire Telegraph reported that the Curling Clubs of Elginshire, represented by Mr MacPherson Campbell of Balliemore, have challenged to a match at the “roaring game”, all the Clubs of Inverness-shire, Ross shire and Banffshire.
