6th February 1976 - Dinner & Court

20th April 1976. - Annual General Meeting

President James Asher paid tribute to the passing of Honorary Member and Skip, and President during the Club's Jubilee Year, David Brown, Nenthorne. He had spent much time researching the history of the Club, and had presented the Club with the Jubilee Shield for competition to encourage young curlers.

A satisfactory financial situation was reported, mainly due to the sale of the Club stones. The membership stood at 56 regular and 5 occasional members.

Ereic Brown (skip), James Asher, Robert Mirtle and Harold Forrester had won the Moray Province League Division I.

D H Forrester had won the Inverness Ice Rink Dewars Rosebowl.

Ron W Berry was elected president, with D Harold Forrester as vice-president. A (Sandy) Gunn remained Secretary/Treasurer with Tom Hastie taking over the duties of Match Secretary.

24th August 1976 - General Meeting

Tom Hastie intimated his resignation as Match Secretary. L G (Graham) Kerr agreed to fill his place.

The Club had received all the ice it had applied for, and there was very little spare ice available. The cost of the ice had gone up to £1.20 per person per session.

2nd November 1976. - Management Committee

Arrangements were made for the Dinner & Court in the Highland Hotel on 4th February 1977. The Principal Guest was to be Jock Dennis (Highland) who would be returning from the RCCC USA Tour on February 2nd.

David Kerr drew attention to the lack of games for new and junior members. A poor return of entries from members meant there were only five teams in the Sandy Gunn League, giving only four games to each team during the season. A good return of entries would prevent the situation re-occurring.
