5th June 1951 - Management committee
The Club's Honorary Secretary & Treasurer, C W Caple Wookey had become ill and had to resign his position. The affairs of the Club had fallen behind and the AGM scheduled for April was postponed until September. Mr George G Calder had agreed to take on the vacant position. The Club had a balance of £423-9/7 in hand and Mr Calder estimated that if all the Club's liabilities were met " they would be about £100 behind". This was considerably less that the committee had expected so they decided that no "special measures are required meantime".
Mr Paton reported that the work on the unfinished ponds would be completed in August. The growth of weeds was a problem.
6th September 1951 - Management Committee
The weeds at the ponds continued to be a problem, and there was a debate as to whether they should be treated with weedkiller, or cut back as they grew. The £300 cheque sent to Mr Duncan, contractor, had not been presented. The Club membership stood at 80. It had started the year with a credit balance of £467-17/8 and finished with a balance in hand of £126-4/7. The drop was due to renovations at the rinks, including the outstanding cheque for £300 paid to Mr Duncan.
20th September 1951 - AGM (44th)
The meeting was reported in The Nairnshire Telegraph of 25th September 1951.
