Auldearn Curling Club advertised a Grand Concert to defray the expense of extending the Club's pond. Mrs Munro from Strathpeffer topped the bill, supported by Officers and men from Fort George, other talented performers and Members of the Club!

The Nairnshire Telegraph of the 16th March reported on a successful event which raised the sum of £16.
