No progress had been made with either the pond resurfacing or the lighting. It was agreed to press Messrs Briggs and Wilson respectively.
25th August 1946 - Management Committee
There had been no reply to reminders sent to Wm Briggs. Mr J Wilson has carried out some work, which was inspected and approved, and had stated that the electric light installation would be ready for play in time for the coming winter.
16th October 1946 - Annual General Meeting
Office Bearers were elected - see the report in the Nairnshire Telegraph below.
In the Club's 40th year it was agreed that the five remaining foundation members, (Col.Cram, George Squair, Dr George Watson, James Lamb and Donald Michael) be elected to Honorary Membership. The Club membership was to be limited to a total of 90 members.
There had only been 9 days curling in the 1945/46 season. The the annual curlers' dinner had been revived.

Curling Club AGM
Electric Light At Rink
Electric lighting has now been installed at Nairn Curling Club rinks and this should increase greatly the opportunities afforded forplay during the winter.
At the Club's annual, meeting, at which Mr J Lamb president, presided, new office bearers were elected and arrangements made for the annual points game and for the Park Cup tournament.
The following office bearers were elected: — President— Mr James Lamb; vice-president—Dr J. Innes Watson; chaplain—Rev. F. S, Gordon Fraser; ice-master Mr Tom Walls (who. is also to act as match secretary); secretary and treasurer —Mr C. W. Caple Wokey. Committee—Messrs D. Michael, D. A. McLean, H. J Munn, G. McL. Gordon, Geo. Innes and J. C. Michie.
The annual points game will be held on Christmas Day, subject to suitable ice, otherwise on New Year's Day, or first available ice thereafter.
The Knock-out Tournament (Park Cup) draw will be made early next month.
19th November 1946 - Ponds Committee
Satisfaction with the lighting, as far as had been completed, was expressed. It was decided to postpone further resurfacing until the spring.
4th December 1946 - Management Committee
As the stock of printed Club Rules from 1907 were about exhausted, it was deemed a good time to make revisions and bring them up to date. A sub-commitee of J Lamb, H Munn, T Walls, Dr J I Watson and CWC Wookey was appointed to do this.
The ice-man, D Morrison, had not been able to devote as much time as he would wish, so another club member, W MacGillivray, was appointed as his assistant, at a rate of 2/- an hour.
Matches now to finish by 9.45pm in order that ice can be got ready for play the next day.
40 entries had been received for the Park Cup.
