D H Forrester and I A Mackintosh had qualified to represent Inverness at the Scottish Pairs in Dundee on February 27th
Transport for the the Annual Outing to Aviemore would be by car, as the bus was to cost £54.
85 tickets had been sold for the Dinner & Court to be held on Friday February 6th 1881.
March 2nd 1981 - Management Committee
A letter of appreciation regarding the Dinner & Court had been received from the RCCC Chaplain: “ I would like it noted that the RCCC representative congratulated the club on their dinner and noted with praise the discipline and resultant good humour of the Court. The organising committee must take credit for havingb arranged such an enjoyable evening."
The restoration of old photographs to be displayed at future dinners had cost £55.
The Sandy Gunn League rules were to be ammended for next season viz ;- "a six shot penalty for each skip played as a substitute"

April 6th 1981 - AGM
A satisfactory financial report was presented, and it was agreed that the subscription would remain at £3, with £1 per occasional member.
In a comprehensive match secretary's report it was noted that the District Medal result had been - Nairn 22, Aberlour 7: E F Brown had won the Annual Outing Trophy and L G Kerr had won the Province Points and the Ice Rink Closing Bonspiel. In Ice Rink Open competitions, Alan Millar had won the Bill Ross Trophy; Eric F Brown had won the Conon Trophy, the Dewars Rosebowl and the RCCC Rinks Championship local play-downs.
The Moray Province Knock-out was won by Eric Brown. The Moray Province League Division 1 was won (by default) by L G Kerr with E F Brown runner-up. "First and Second places were decided by the driver of a Tarmac van being involved in a motor accident with J Asher, R Berry and D Philip, members of E F Brown's rink requiring medical attention." The subsequent Area 10 League play-off winners were L G Kerr's rink.
Graham Kerr was giving up the post of Match Secretary to work overseas. He was thanked for excellent service over the past 5 years. David A Taylor was appointed Match Secretary
Secretary/Treasurer Sandy Gunn was wished a happy retirement from The Bank of Scotland on 16th April.
November 1st 1981 - Management Committee
Jim Whiteford, RCCC President, had accepted an invitation to the Dinner & Court to be held on Friday 5th February 1982. The Nairnshire Curling Association had booked ice at Inverness on 7th November for the Town v County, and on 27th March 1982 for the Leven Cup.
