Curling was enjoyed at both the Nairn tarmacadam ponds and the Auldearn pond.
The impending arrival of the Canadian Curling team was expected at Glasgow on the 8th of January.

Moray Province are to send three rinks to play against the Canadians - two from Nairnshire and one from Elgin.
They would be unused to the artificial indoor ice at Haymarket!

No other reference has been found for Joseph Mackay's success at St Moritz. Many Swiss hotels promoted 'International' competitions to encourage tourism.

The Nairnshire curlers were no match for the Canadians culminating in the "lament" below.

ASt the annual meeting of the Club, the mebership stood at 68.
Two rinks were to be entered for the next Grand Match at Carsebreck.
