The Club had sustained a loss of £90 on the year's working.   A barn dance and barbeque to raise funds with Nairn Ladies was planned at Easter Dalzeil farm, with the kind permission of Margaret & Bob Pottie, to be held in July.

A large contingent of members had attended Fochabers CC Dinner & Court, and also Cawdor CC Cheese and Wine.  There had been some outdoor curling on Loch Flemington.

The President's report noted the passing of Tom Walls, a member of the Club from 1934 to 1988.  During this time he had served the Club in many capacities, including Ice-master on the Lodgehill rinks.  He was a Past President of Moray Province, and was made an Honorary Skip of the Club in 1973.

There had been an Annual Outing to Pitlochry in March, won by Bill Young.  Bob Pottie had led the Club to victory over Carrbridge in a District Medal match, and had won the Moray Province KO Trophy.  There had been an annual outing to Pitlochry in March, won by Bill Young.   Alistair Kerr's rink were presented with the Sandy Gunn League Shield.

Sandy Gunn was elected an Honorary Skip for his services to the Club.

The Barn Dance had been a great success and the Club's  thanks to Bob & Margaret Pottie were noted

This season’s Annual Outing proposed to be held at Brora.  A proposal by the new Inverness Ice-rink management to impose a levy of £5 per curler per annum had been dropped meantime.

The 1988 Dinner & Court was to be held on 5th February.  This date clashed with the Winter Olympics in Calgary so the RCCC President would be unable to accept Nairn's invitation.  Costs had been agreed with the Golf View Hotel - Meal £8, Spirits (per bottle) £12 and B&B £12.  The ticket price would be £9.
