The Golf View Hotel was once again filled to capacity for this traditional annual event.

1995 April 24th AGM
Colin C Macgregor stood down as Match Secretary and Alister Asher agreed to take his place. It was agreed to look into presenting a Sandy Gunn Trophy to be competed for by the Moray Province Clubs.
The Club's year-end financial statement showed a healthy balance, mainly due to the President using his professional skills to obtain a VAT refund from HM Revenue & Customs. At the time, sports club payments for facilities were zero rated VAT. Bill argued that the block bookings of ice for Club competitions should not have been subject to VAT. The Club were responsible for the bookings, and the means of payment (collection from members by the ice rink) was immaterial. This was upheld and the Club received a refund of £2006.91.
The Match Secretary reported on an active season. Mike McInnes had won a District Medal match against Aberlour, played at Elgin. Alan Stanfield and Harold Forrester had beaten Ross & Euan Macdonald in the final of the MacLean Pairs at Inverness. Graham Kerr had won the Leven Cup for Nairn.
Graham Kerr and his rink had won the Glenfarclas Quaich, presented to the Winners of the 1995 Aviemore Highland Week of International Curling.
1995 September GM
Gregor Munro was thanked for the use of a generator and lighting at Achnatone pond.
The RCCC President, Leslie Ingram-Brown, had accepted the invitation to atten the Dinner & Court on February 2nd 1996.
Nairn were drawn to host Huntly in the 1995-96 RCCC District Medal matches. Rather than nominate an indoor venue for the match, Nairn suggested Achnatone pond, perhaps forgetting that for Huntly, situated at least 40 miles from an indoor rink, outdoor ice was their natural environment.
Nairn stood no chance, but a good time was had by all. So much so that Huntly returned home forgetting their brooms and crampets !
