9th October 1942 Annual General Meeting
All the Club's office-bearers were re-appointed. Membership stood at 61, and funds at £131-/10d. The chaplain (Rev G Fraser) "still has his abode in Germany" and five of the members listed last year were still on active service, Dr Blain having returned.
Officers commanding regiments and the Canadian Forestry Corps had thanked the club for honorary membership, enabling them to use the rinks free of charge. However there had been only 16 days curling ice the previous winter (11 in January and 5 in February).
As a result there had been little curliing and no games against other clubs.
There had been no re-surfacing of the ponds due to the wartime shortage of materials. Dr J I Watson had arranged for the planting of some cupressus trees at the ponds.
11th December 1942 Management Committee
James Urquhart was made an Honorary Member in view of his long and valued connection with the Club.
