It wsa recorded that Nairn (Paton, McIntosh, Whyte and Gordon, skip) drew 10 - 10 with Ardclach (James, H McArthur, Stewart and D McArthur, skip,) in a match at Achnatone
5th February 1948 Management Committee
The Club was to send a rink with T Walls as skip, to Perth to play in a match at the invitation of the RCCC, on February 25th.
A Dinner & Court was to be held in the Royal Hotel on February 25th.
15th September 1948. Annual General Meeting (41st)
James Lamb decided to stand down as President, and was elected an Honorary Member. along with Peter Cram. The Main Office-bearers were appointed: President: Dr J Innes Watson; Vice-president: HJ Munn; Chaplain: Rev FS GOrdon Fraser; Ice Master: Tom Walls; Secretary/Treasurer: CWCaple Wookey.
A Balance in hand of £268-1/3 was reported. There was no report of curling activities over the previous season.

1st October 1948. Ponds Committee
It was agreed to purchase 40 young trees to replace those that had died, and to increase the coverage.

SILVER KETTLE WINNER
Some enjoyable games and close contests in various competitions have taken place at Nairn Curling Club rinks recently and on Saturday R. J. R. Gordon emerged winner of the points competition silver kettle with 18 points. H. J. Munn, 17 points, and W. MacGillivray 16 points, were second and third respectively.
In the rink competition the following ties have been played off to date: —First round — George Innes beat Dr J. I. Watson; second round—P. M. Pottie beat J. C. Michie, and Tom Walls beat R. J. R. Gordon.
