Andrew Robertson won the Glenferness Points with a good score of 26. In a competition between rinks, Andrew McKenzie won the Club's Jubilee <edal.

NAIRN CURLING CLUB - ANNUAL MEETING
The annual general meetimg of the Nairn Curling Club was held in the Ante-room of the Public Hall on Saturday evening. Mr Whitelaw, Monkland, president of the club, presided, and there were also present:- Mr Robert Park, Mr Clement Carr, Dr Sutter, Mr P M. Cram, Mr Nicol, Mr Michael, Mr D MacKillop, Mr J R Fraser, Mr Joseph MacKay, Mr J a Robertson, Mr H G Strachan, Dr A F Lee, Mr D G Mackenzie and Mr J A Biach.
The Secretary (Mr G Squair, solicitor) read his annual report in which he stated that last season was the best and most successful since the commencement of the club five years ago. There were altogether 63 members last year, and all enjoyed their fair share of curling He then submitted his annual financial statement with the auditors report thereon. The Club commenced the year with a credit balance of £41 19s. The income for the year was £60 6s. Making a total of £102 5s. The expenditure for this year, including repayment of £20 in debentures, amounted to £55 0s 6d, and the Club ended the year’s work with a credit balance of £47 4s 6d.
Mr Whitelaw moved the adoption of the reports and they were passed unanimously
The ballot for the repayment of debentures then took place. Mr Squair stated they had paid four debentures last year when they had a credit balance of £41 and had to make repairs to the pond. He suggested that they pay six debentures this year as they had £7 of a balance more, and there was no prospect of any extraordinary expenditure.
It was accordingly agreed to pay six debentures this year.
ELECTION OF OFFICE BEARERS
The following office-bearers were then appointed:- Patron, Sir R B Finlay. Patroness, Mrs Whitelaw, Monkland; president Mr W Whitelaw; vice-president, Mr R Park; representative members, Mr Joseph Mackay and Mr George Squair; chaplain, Mr Bonallo Auldearn; secretary and treasurer, Mr George Squair; committee, Messrs James Lamb, Joseph Mackay, A Nicol, W Dallas, P M Cram, D G Mackenzie and J A Robertson.
ELECTION OF SKIPS
The skips were re-appointed as follows:- Mr Joseph Mackay, Mr Nicol, Mr James Lamb, Mr James Sinclair(Baker) with Mr P McCallum and Mr Dallas as reserves.
Mr James Lamb was re-appointed auditor.
It was arranged that Mr Joseph Mackay and Mr George Squair attend the meeting of the County Association, which is to be held shortly in Nairn and they were instructed to try and arrange for the bonspiel for the championship this winter be held either on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.
Mr Mackay said he had much pleasure in moving that they get a couple of rinks to visit Carsebreck this year.
Mr Whitelaw said it would mean two nights away from home. He wondered if they would get two rinks to go and suggested they start with one rink.
Mr Whitelaw moved that Mr Mackay skip a rink or find a substitute.
The curlers are to pay their own expenses and if they fail to turn up and do not let the other clubs know beforehand they would be liable for the other club’s expenditure.
It was agreed to send one rink to compete in the grand match at Carsebreck. The rink is to be skipped by Mr Joseph MacKay.
A vote of thanks to the Chairman brought the meeting to a close.

The Grand Match had to be postponed because of a thaw. The Nairn Grand Match Team challenged the Elgin Grand Match Team and travelled by train to the newly opened Glacarium at Aberdeen. The first Nairn Club team to play on indoor ice! The Glacarium is described in the 1912-13 RCCC Annual, page 128.
