Arrangements were confirmed for the dinner and court in the Royal Hotel on February 7th 1964. The meal would cost 11/-, including a gratuity for the staff, and the Club would sell whisky at £2:10/- a bottle.

Final arrangements were made for the dinner. 90 tickets had been sold. An outing to Aberdeen was fixed for Sunday 15th March 1964.

CLUB COURT AND DINNER
Major Allan Cameron, Allangrange, president of The Royal Caledonian Curling Club was guest of honour , among many guests from other clubs when a large company spent a most enjoyable night at the Nairn Club annual dinner and court in the Royal Hotel on Friday night.
Mr E. F. Brown, president, welcomed the company, referring to the pleasure it gave them to have the Royal Club president with them and to the honour it was for the Highland Clubs to have one of their members in this high office.
Grace was said by the Club Chaplain (the Rev. J. W. Cumming) and “Jack Frost" was toasted by Mr D. Fraser. The Chairman proposed the toast to the ‘Royal Caledonian Club’ to which Major Cameron replied. "Neighbouring Clubs" was given by Colonel D. H. W. Brown and Dr J. Adam, Forres replied. Mr E. Grieve proposed “Wives andSweethearts” and Mr D. Stevenson replied. "The Chairman" was toasted by Mr S. Kirkland, Highland. Mr James McMorran rendered indisipensable service at the piano and arranged the musical programme.
The President, assisted by Mr T. Walls, Mr R. A. Fraser and Dr J. McFadyen installed the following initiates — Messrs M. M. Grant, P. Green, R. Macdonald, Dr W. B. Stewart of Nairn; Messrs I. Bruce, J. Rose, J. Clark and J.Alexander from Dalcross; and J. Clark from Ardclach.
It was the feeling of the gathering that congratulations were well deserved by the Chairman for his punctilious handling of the full programme which finished on the stroke of midnight. Moreover every guest observed that the meal could not have been bettered, thanks to the Hotel management.
ST MORITZ SEMI-FINALISTS
At the Engadina Curling Club ponds at St Moritz on Jan. 23, P. M. Pottie, Dalziel, was in a rink along with two Swiss and a German which reached the semi-final of the Carlton Trophy competition. The rink which defeated them went on to win the competition.
9th March 1964 - Management Committee
The Club Constitution had been revised and would be put before the AGM. Two rinks were to go to the Bookless Bonspiel at Perth on 6th April. The club house was to be looked at for alterations to accommodate the Ladies section. The dinner had shown a profit of £12:14/6.
23rd March 1964 - Management Committee
The passing of C S Boyne, a member for many years, was noted. The revised Club constitution would be put to the membership.
20th April 1964 - Annual General Meeting
This was reported in the ~Nairnshire Telegraph of May 5th. The revised constitution was accepted. Club funds stood at £91:1/8. The regular subscription was increased from £1:10/- to £2.
After many years at £7.10/-, the ice-man (F Knowles) had his honorarium increased to £10

CLUB'S NEW PRESIDENT
Mr Robert A Fraser was elected new president of Nairn Curling, Club at the annual general meeting in the Royal Hotel on April 20th.
Mr Eric F. Brown, the retiring president referred to the past season when 15 days' curling was enjoyed; to matches played against two Clubs; to various bonspiels and outings to Dundee, Aberdeen and Perth.
Mr Brown also referred to the successful Club dinner and court and expressed thanks to members for support during his term of office; to Mr Tom Walls the energetic match secretary; to all skips; and to the worthy iceman, Mr Fred J. Knowles, for providing ice under all conditions at all hours of the day and night; and to all those who helped in improvements to the rinks and club house.
Membership was given as 3 honorary members; 98 Gentlemen (80 regular and 18 occasional) and 24 Ladies (23 regular and 1 occasional): It was encouraging that the ladies section made good use of the frost available.
The Hon. Treasurer submitted the audited financial report.
The retiring President was thanked for the enthusiasm, energy, and drive he had shown during his term of office.
It was agreed that the ordinary membership fee for gentlemen should be increased from £1 10/- to £2 per annum, the other subscriptions to remain as before i.e., occasional and lady members £1 per annum.

Permission for Nairn Home Holiday Week to hold a dance on the ponds was declined with regret, due to the likelyhood of damage to the soft surface.
18th September 1964 - General Meeting
The passing of R Mirtle (Sen) was noted. Fred Knowles was congratulated on his election as Provost and tribute was paid to his dedication to duty as ice-man, a post he now relinquished. A suggestion that the club purchase a second hand caravan to accommodate the ladies section was remitted to the committee. Nairn had been drawn against Ardclach in the District Medal.
30th October 1964 - Management Committee
It was arranged that four Nairn rinks would play four Ross-shire rinks at Aberdeen on November 15th 1964, and that four Nairn rinks would play four Aberdeen rinks at Aberdeen on November 24th 1964. The problem of providing a ladies toilet would be reviewed in a year's time. The 1965 dinner would be held on February 5th.
