An indefinite pronoun represents a noun. They can be subjects or objects.

Indefinite pronouns can be used as a subject, an object, or an object of a preposition (à, de, pour…).
Un·e autre, d’autres, certaines, quelques-un·e·s, plusieurs, aucun·e express a quantity (one or more), so you have to use “en” when these pronouns are objects.
Chacun·e, tout le monde, quelqu’un, quelque chose, personne…ne and rien…ne are singular.
Quelqu’un, personne, quelque chose and rien are used with “de” followed by a masculine adjective (never feminine).
