Two subjects
The subjunctive has to be used when there are two different subjects + one of the below expressions, usually about attitudes or emotions.
Expressions that require the subjunctive when there are two subjects:
The subjunctive is necessary when a sentence contains one of these conjunctions and two different subjects.
A condition que: provided that
A moins que: unless
Avant que: before
Pour que: in order that, so that
Sans que: without
Always with these two very common conjunctions, with one subject or two subjects.
Bien que: although
Jusqu’à ce que: until
