C40-01: Marvelous Bridge

After beating the game, you can stop by the Marvelous Bridge by heading east of Route 16. The previously blocked gate is now accessible, allowing you to go through it.

You can buy a Magikarp from a salesman on the western part of the bridge. It costs $500.

If you haven't yet gotten the Lunar Wing from the Strange House, you may see a ghostly girl while crossing the bridge; if you have gotten it, though, you'll run into the legendary Pokémon, L68 Cresselia, while crossing the bridge!

Cresselia can be annoying to weaken not just due to its high defensive stats and HP, but also due to the fact that it has Moonlight to heal back half of its HP. It has just 5 PP, so it can't use it forever (Pressure or Spite help with that), but it is still annoying. After that, though, it doesn't hit terribly hard, although its low catch rate can make it tricky to catch sometimes.

Anyway, that's pretty much all there is to the bridge. Keep heading across it until you reach your next destination: Route 15!

C40-02: Route 15

Pupitar

Type: Rock & Ground

EV: 2Atk

Dex No: No.247

Catch Rate: 45

Height: 3'11"

Weight: 335.1 lbs.

Right near the start of the route, coming from the Marvelous Bridge side, is a Pokéfan.

L60 Growlithe (Fire)

L60 Houndour (Dark & Fire)

L60 Stoutland (Normal)

A Scientist in there will trade you a Rotom for a Ditto.

You can now either climb the stairs and cross the bridge, or you can head down the cliff by walking down the stairs in the southern part of the route. It's quicker to get to Black City or White Forest by crossing the bridge. But NO! There's we're some more items and trainers, right!

Down the stairs is a Backpacker.

L60 Seedot (Grass)

L60 Cacnea (Grass)

L60 Croagunk (Poison & Fighting)

Hop down the first ledge, although before jumping down the second one, make sure you pick up the hidden HP Up. The next Backpacker down there has a:

L60 Poochyena (Dark)

L60 Torkoal (Fire)

L60 Cubone (Ground)

To the west of her, by the ledges, are some steps that leave over to a Max Potion.

Go on over to the boulder nearby the Backpacker and push it over to the west three times, so it is one space away from the wall, and then walk over to the other side and push it twice to the north, then one more time to the right so it is in the hole. Up there, you can find the dark grass, as well as a hidden Ultra Ball.

Back over to the east, there's one more boulder you can push to reach a valuable TM. Push it to the south three times, so it is one away from the southern wall, and then push it over to the right just once. Then, push it south one and east one to fill the hole. Do that and you'll be rewarded with TM26, Earthquake.

Now, head north and up the steps to reach the other side of the bridge. You'll have to fight against a Pokéfan.

L60 Meowth (Normal)

L60 Glameow (Normal)

L60 Liepard (Dark)

Before going there, though, head over to the west and across the bridge until you find the Poké Transfer Lab.

Further west, you'll find the start of the route. No need to go back there. Instead, you can stop by the Further west, you'll find the start of the route. No need to go back there. Instead, you can stop by the Poké Transfer Lab right in front of you if you want to transfer your Pokemon from the previous generation of games.
