C02-01: What's new between the original Pokémon Black and White Version

1) Ask for using the repels after repel effect wore off

2) Black and white forms for Kyurem, Therian form for Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus, Resolute form for Keldeo

3) New Routes in the Unova region: Route 19-23 and several new locations in the Unova region such as Aspertia City

C02-02: Opening

RECALL

In the Japanese versions of the game, you may ask for ひらがな or 漢字.

RECALL

There are 3 battle categories:

Physical:

Hit the Pokémon and test the Pokémon's based Attack and Defense, Physical moves sometimes atttacked upon contact.

The Pokémon runs over the enemy and hits the enemy.

Special:

Hit the Pokémon and test the Pokémon's based SP. Attack and SP.Defense.

The Pokémon use moves direct to the enemy.

Status:

This moves doesn't hit the Pokémon, but make your Pokémon or enemy Pokémon increase or decrease base stats, make different status problems and use protect moves to protect itself.

I personally hate status moves because this does not hit the target and sometimes doesn't help.

Press Start button on the title screen, then select "NEW GAME".

Words for Japanese versions

These words are for users that are playing the Japanese version, but they don't understand it.

はい and うん are YES.

いいえ, ううん and うーん are NO.

ずかん is a Pokédex.

ポケモン should be Pokémon!

バッグ called bag.

レポート means, report, but used to save game.

せってい is options.

On some commands, もどる is usually cancel/back.

円 displays as Pokédollars.

キズぐすり called potion.

いいキズぐすり should be Super Potion.

すごいキズぐすり called Hyper Potion.

まんたんのくすり is Max Potion.

かいふくのくすり usually is Full Restore.

どくけし is Antidote.

まひなおし is Parlyz Heal.

ねむけざまし is Awakening.

やけどなおし usually is Burn Heal.

こおりなおし called Ice Heal.

なんでもなおし is usually Full Heal.

ヒウンアイス is Casteliacone.

ピーピーエイド represents Ether.

ピーピーリカバー called Elixir.

ピーピーエイダー known as Max Ether.

ピーピーマックス can be Max Elixir.

タイプ is type.

ノーマル is Normal for types.

For other words, you can find it on the Internet for research, or use jisho.org to look up for words. Don't use words about Poké Balls and Berries! It's has no results!

RECALL

Season occurs in the following months:

C02-03: Aspertia City

Player's mom will be outside and received a call from Professor Juniper. She tells the player to pick up your starter from her assistant, Bianca. So, she goes inside to let you know. She'll ask you a few questions for everything, keep answer "YES" and move along out the door.

Go on and head north, you'll be stopped by Hugh and his sister. Then, his sister goes off and Hugh will follow you. Unfortunately, Hugh don't let you enter other buildings.

Behind the Pokémon Center and the houses is the staircase, go up and you see... Bianca!

Talk to her and keep saying "YES" until the dialogue ends. Talk to her again. She'll give you a Pokémon, but... did she wear Cheren's glasses...?:

Choose one of the starter: Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott.

After choosing a Pokémon, give them a nickname, Bianca also give you a Pokédex. She tells the payer about the Pokédex.

Head south, Hugh will appear. Hugh also want a Pokédex.

Talk to Hugh and battle him!

After you win, you'll talk to him again, he'll run off. Bianca show you the Pokémon Center. Heal your Pokémon and give you a tour. This time she'll give you 10 Poké Balls! Yahoooooooo!!!

Once you go out, you'll receive Running Shoes, and she'll gives you a Town Map. You must give an extra one to Hugh later. Bianca tell the player to Route 19.

Head through the gateway and the attendant will give you a Potion. Go out the gateway.

C02-04: Route 19

Bianca shows up and she'll explain how to catch Pokémon. She'll demonstrate using her Lillipup to catch a Purrloin. As always, you should weaken it down to as low of HP as possible before tossing a Poke Ball at it. Pay attention to the bottom screen to see how to navigate to get to the Poke Ball. After the dialogue, head through Floccesy Town.

Move east through the grass. move through another patch of grass. There's a Potion and a Youngster find out how to jump the ledges. Select "NO" then he'll jump off.

After heading east through the signpost, it's... Alder! The Pokémon League Champion in the original versions. He'll ask you something about your adventure and follow him to Floccesy Town.
