Basic Trigonometry

Find the values of it:

SIN=Sine, Opposite/Hypotenuse, known as SOH

COS=Cosine, Adjacent/Hypotenuse, known as CAH

TAN=Tangent, Opposite/Adjacent, known as TOA

For angles, you may know 0°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90°:

Change degrees to degrees, minutes and seconds:

24.63°=?

First, 0.63×60=37.8, so 37'

Then, 0.8×60=48, so 48"

Last, the answer is 24° 37' 48".

Change degrees, minutes, seconds to degrees:

24° 37' 48"=?

First, 48/60=0.8, add it like this: 37+0.8=37.8

Then, 37.8/60=0.63 add it like this: 24+0.63=24.63

Last, the answer is 24.63°.
