C02-02: Opening

Wait...!

When the previous data is existing, erase the previous data if you wish to start the new game with saving the game:

Up+Select+B

It says if you select NEW GAME:

Warning!

There's already a saved game file. If you start an adventure now, you won't be able to save it.

Are you sure you want to start anyway?

A Button: Begin adventure

B Button: Return to the menu

You can't save the game if the previous data is existing, this is also same as in Generation IV. Players remember this if you played Generation IV Pokémon games(Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver). One of the Generation IV Pokémon games, I haven't played before, so I don't know this.

Press Start button on the title screen, then select "NEW GAME".

Selections in the main menu:

When the game starts, Professor Juniper appears and her Minccino that she sends out. Then, Professor asks you about the player.

1) Choose boy or girl.

My choice: Boy

2) Give the player's name. I gave the name MEGAH96.

After the name has been introduced, She introduces two friends.

Mr. Cheren: He is difficult and he is honest.

Ms. Bianca: Flighty and she works very hard.

So adventure starts. Season occurs in the following months:

C02-03: Nuvema Town

This is a opening scene: Professor Juniper comes out from her lab and send the present to player's house and Professor Juniper return back to her lab.

Cheren and player is in player's room, then Bianca is late! So player pick the starter, Snivy, Tepig or Oshawott.

A) Save the game

Press X button to open the menu and select SAVE, tap on YES:

B) Changing options

1) Open menu and select OPTIONS.

2) Tap on option to change settings:

3) When you done, tap on CONFIRM. When save soud is heard, settings changes successful.

Now choose a starter!

A gift box written:

I've brought three Pokémon, one for you and one for each of your friends. Please settle your choices politely.

Tap on the Pokéballs and tap on Pick this one! and select YES. There are three starters. Snivy, Tepig or Oshawott.

My choice: Oshawott

You both battle Bianca and Cheren with:

L5 Snivy (Grass)

Tackle, Leer

This is the most difficult starter because you can't use it to defeat gym.

Advantages: Higher Speed so it will be easily move first, higher Defense and Sp. Defense so it will have no higher damage

L5 Tepig (Fire)

Tackle, Tail Whip

Most players get happy with this starter because you can use it to defeat Gym Leaders.

Advantages: Higher HP so it will not KO easily, higher Attack so it will have higher power of Physical moves

L5 Oshawott (Water)

Tackle, Tail Whip

This is still OK. It can learn all Water-type HM moves.

Advantages: Higher Sp. Attack so it will have better power of Special moves

Both of them you earn 500 money if you won.

Snivy

Type: Grass

EV: 1Speed

Dex No: No.495

Catch Rate: 45

Height: 2'0"

Weight: 17.9lbs.

Tepig

Type: Fire

EV: 1HP

Dex No: No.498

Catch Rate: 45

Height: 1'8"

Weight: 21.8lbs.

Oshawott

Type: Water

EV: 1SP Attack

Dex No: No.501

Catch Rate: 45

Height: 1'8"

Weight: 13.0lbs.

Now, Bianca choose then next is Cheren.

After we chosen a starter, player battle Bianca first.

After you battle Bianca, player's room becomes untidy?! Cheren heals your Pokémon and you battle Cheren.

You better win! If you win twice, your starter has LEVEL UP!

After the battle, Bianca and Cheren escaped! Now you go down stairs and we talk to player's mom, Bianca and Cheren leave your house. Player's mom heals your Pokémon and give you a Xtransceiver.

Now you can leave the house. Bianca is outside and go to Bianca's house.

She will be an argument with her father. When Bianca leaves, you also leaves. Now you check Cheren's house in southeast corner, but nothing!

Talk to Cheren and send you to the lab. Professor Juniper say a bunch of stuff, give a nickname about your starter. After more dialogue, Prof. Juniper give us a Pokédex! When she give you a Pokédex, Select YES.

After you leave the Lab, player's mom give us the Town Map.

When we are ready, go ahead to the northeast corner of town is Route 1.

C02-04: Route 1

Once player entered, we will walk towards to Prof. Juniper. She teaches us how to catch Pokémon. She uses a L7 Minccino to catch

L2 Patrat. Method is same as in Generation IV Games.

After demostration, she give us 5 Poké Balls.
