When you arrive, your rival will thankfully walk off. When you regain control, go south and examine the next to the southeastern streetlight to find a Heart Scale. Go north and away from the dock.
Walk out from the dock and you'll be approached by a strange clown who will give you a free Bicycle.
Throughout Castelia City, you can find several more of the Clowns. One of them is:

If you talk to all of the clowns and then go back to talk to the one that gave you the Bicycle, he'll give you a Rare Candy for your efforts. Cool! Remember to be on the lookout for them while you explore Castelia City!
Go east down your current street. Heal yourself at the Pokémon Center if you need then head to the very right end of the street. Enter the gateway. Talk to the girl just next to the doorway to receive the Quick Claw.
Exit the gate and run left. Enter the street to the right of the Pokémon Center. Run down it and enter the first building on your right.
GAME FREAK Building:
Go up to the top floor. In the south-west corner of the top floor is a Revive.
To your right are three people gathered around a table. The people sitting at the bottom and the right of the table are both willing to battle. If you speak to either of them and select the top option "Yes" when asked a question, you will begin the battle.
The man sitting at the bottom of the table is GAME FREAK Nishino.

Once you're done, exit the building. Back on the street, head north and enter the next building on your left. Go up to the top floor. Talk to the Guitarist here to receive TM44, Rest. Exit this building. Head north until you exit the street. You'll now be at the fountain. Walk around and enter the next street to your left.
Run south until you reach the ice-cream stand. You can talk to the girl here and buy Casteliacones. 1 or 12. Everyday instead of Tuesdays. 1 cost 100. A businessman walking buy will note that you have and continue walking. Casteliacone... My favourite snack, too!

Once you're done, enter the building just across from the ice-cream stand.

Talk to the man in the north-east corner. He will ask for a Pokemon of a certain random type. If you can show him one of that type before the day ends he will reward you with a berry of your choice.
If you really want that berry, save before you talk to him for the first time of the day.

You should now be back where you received the Bicycle. After battling Morimoto and the Nishino you may need to heal yourself. Run east to the Pokémon Center and heal yourself. Run back, continue left and enter the building just to the left of the street.

As soon as you move forward in the 1st floor you'll be stopped by Janitor who'll give you an Exp. Share before taking the elevator. Talk to the Ace trainer sitting at a table to your right. She will give you an item:

Leave this building. Continue left down the street. Enter the dock that you come upon just before you reach the next street. Talk to the woman wandering around here to receive the Destiny Knot. Exit the dock, and enter the street just to the left of it.

When you move over, you'll stopped by the man in black giving you TM70, Flash. There's Café Sonata to the east. Talk to the man at the counter to receive Moomoo Milk.
Exit and move to the end of the alley.
You'll now back in the area of fountain. Move over to the fountain and talk to the bald man standing next to it. If you do, you'll unlock one of the Funfest Missions called Train with Martial Artists! Vending Machines found on the north-east of the fountain.
Enter the street north of the fountain.
Move down the street and enter the first building on your right. Talk to the man guarding the elevator and reply with the top option ('Yes') when asked if he can search you. Once you're searched, you're free to enter the elevator. Take the elevator to the 47th floor.
Speak to the woman in the top-left corner here and she'll give you TM45 which teaches Attract.
Leave the building. Enter the building on the opposite side of the street.
Talk to the bald man near the counter. He'll give you an Amulet Coin. Exit the building and enter the second building on the right of the street.
A Scientist on the 1st floor that will give you an Eviolite if you've seen at least 40 different Pokemon.
The 47th floor has a guy that will tell you about the different Gym Badges, there's also a Charcoal.
Head to the end of the street. There's a Vending Machine next to the gate entrance if you wish to use it. Once you're ready, enter the gate.
Bianca will show up and give you the Dowsing MCHN key item.
Head north to Route 4, but you can't keep going. Otherwise, return to Castelia City.
Head back into the area with the fountain and this time take the western-most street south. Enter the building on your left. On the bottom floor is the bald man on the east side of the room, Name Rater! He is the bald man on the east side of the room.
A woman offers one massage per day to a single Pokemon of your choice that increase the Pokemon's happiness.
On the second floor, you'll find people talking about the Medal Rally.
On the third floor you'll find Fennel a researcher of Pokemon Trainers. Talk to Amanita, "Someone's PC" will becomes "Amanita's PC". (After completed the main story, you can come back here and receive a free Eevee with a Hidden Ability.)
Exit the building and continue south down the street.
You will see Clyde standing in front of the entrance to the Gym. Speak with him and Iris, to find out that Burgh, the Gym Leader, is currently away and that Team Plasma are involved in yet more antics! Head south, out of the street.
Head south into the western-most dock. You can speak to the captain that take you to Liberty Garden.
Head back into the main part of Castelia City. The building to your right, known as the Passerby Analytics HQ. You can partake in this. After you answer ALL questions, you'll received a Soda Pop.
Run towards the right end of the area. Just past the Pokémon Center, Iris is waiting for you, telling you that there are Team Plasma Grunts in the eastern-most dock. You may want to heal if you haven't already. Continue. Once you reach the end, follow Iris into the dock.
Iris will tell you that you need to enter the Castelia Sewers. Hugh will then appear. Answer "Yes" or "No" to his question and he will promptly run into the sewers himself. It's time to follow him in! Head around and enter.
After finding three other Harlequins, speak with them, then return to the original one to receive your reward, a Rare Candy.

Depending on which season it is, the water level in the sewers may be up or it may be low, giving you access to other areas, but also requiring different navigation instructions to get through. Please make sure you read the appropriate section if you notice the water levels are lowered!
When you go down the stairs, Hugh will be down there and he'll suggest you team up in order to take on Team Plasma. He'll join your party for a bit, causing every wild Pokemon in the area to be a Double Battle.

If you're continuing looking through the sewers, head on over to the west, into the room where Burgh came out of and you'll find a Heart Scale.
Now head back out and then south of where the Plasma Grunts, crossing a bridge. See the stairs that lead up? That takes you to the Castelia Garden. Go to C08-04: Castelia Garden.
Continue south until you reach Janitor Felix.

It crosses north and is in the top-left corner of the little island.
Here you'll see Doctor Heath.

He'll fully heal your Pokemon, so don't worry so much about the fight against him. You can head either west or east; heading west leads to an empty room, but no need.
Go east, pick up another Leftovers, and then enter that door.
Daily Event
There's a Researcher inside of that building who wants to see Poison-type Pokemon. She'll give you either a Potion, a Super Potion, or a Revive.
Autumn and Winter is water drained:
Head down into the empty sewers and go west until you see two sets of stairs.
Take the top set of stairs and then head west to find two Team Plasma Grunts that you must fight in a Double Battle. As well as TwistedSpoon.

Now head back to the drained sewer bank and now climb up the bottom set of stairs. That takes you to the Castelia Garden. Go to C08-04: Castelia Garden.
Head south for a little bit in the sewers until you see some stairs leading down into the bottom level. Remember this point for later on! There's a lot to do if you keep going south or if you take the stairs down, but we're going to start by taking the stairs down, then head south until you see some more stairs to the left. Go up them and pick up the X Sp. Def. Head back down and cross through the gate to the south, then go west, and finally north at the fork in the road (heading south leads to a dead end).
Just up there, you can either take the steps up or keep heading north. Start by taking the going north and then following the path until you climb up some stairs.
Move up them and battle Scientist Caroline.

There's nothing in the room next to her. Go back to where the steps leading up were and take them up to find Worker Zack.

take the stairs right by him down and across over to Doctor Heath.

Head back towards the beginning, back to those steps that I told you to remember.
Continue south along the path here until you reach Janitor Felix.

Follow that path until you find some stairs, which you can take and then head west for a very long time. You'll run into a branch that leads north and west; the north path just leads to a dead end, so keep heading west until you find a whole ton of stairs.

As you leave the sewers, Iris will tell you that Burgh went off to the Gym. Proceed to Castelia Gym!

Head to Castelia City's north exit. As you're about to move up the straight past the fountain, he will stop you, They'll ask you a couple of questions, presumably about your Pokemon. Respond with 'Yes' or 'No' to either question, then continue on towards the exit and move through out into Route 4!
