The Blessing of the Trinity

Tristrim: A Most Holy Day

Sun Apr 27 19:49:34 2008

To: Knighthood Gwaine Mercerion Salinor Gwynn Austinian Nadrik Siccara

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A blue mist crept along the floors of the Keep this day and did beckon

God's Knights into the Son's Temple, where Sir Gwaine d'Aggravaine was

enveloped by it. As we gathered, Lord Nadrik's voice and presence was

heard, and the Lord spoke:

"Gwaine, my Champion humbled you are in my presence, though your status

within my keep has grown. Lead well my keep, Champion. " For those

assembled to hear.

As the presence of Nadrik dimmed, Sir d'Aggravaine was bathed in blue light,

his uniform changed to reflect his status as Gareth's Crown. "Honor above

all else," the Lord commanded.

Beside me knelt Lady Gwynn Struan, who shortly after was surrounded by a

shaft of divine light. As the light grew to a blinding brilliance, the

presence of The Father became apparent.

God spoke unto Lady Struan: "My child, blessed are thee, know I hear your

prayers well and look upon you with favor. May your faith and wisdom

continue to be bounty within this keep. "

The light surrounding Lord d'Aggravaine and Lady Struan then expanded and

consumed the Keep, the gathered divinities shaking Gareth's very

foundations. The temple still gleaming with purity, the hearts of my

brothers and sisters were soothed as the Lady Siccara made her presence

known.

"Blessed are thee knights of the keep. May thine hearts be strong and thine

faith be true, " were Her words to us.

In unison, the Patrons did bless us, "Favored is Gareth's Keep. "

Thus General d'Aggravaine did proclaim that this, the Day of the Great Gods,

12th the Month of Heat, is to be remembered as the day the Trinity bestowed

upon us their blessings in unison.

- As recorded by Tristrim Sanctimilis

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gwaine gossips 'Hear ye all, unto this Keep, the Son and His Father render great honour.'

Gwaine gossips 'Know well, for whom this Keep stands and whose tenets it shall take unto all.'

Temple of Nadrik

An alabaster knight kneels before a white marble statue of Nadrik.

A fountain bubbles quietly in the center of the room.

Hardwood pews fill the room.

An altar of red oak stands in front of the western wall.

(Golden Aura) Zeusef is here.

(Golden Aura) Mitsko Mitsuhara is here.

(Golden Aura) Akasi is here.

(Golden Aura) Tristrim is here.

(Golden Aura) Amargein is resting here.

(Golden Aura) (Holy Aura) Gwaine d'Aggravaine is here.

Tristrim whispers 'Amen.'

A sense of blessing falls upon the temple, as the sisters presence is felt.

Gwynn glances at Gwaine then averts her gaze to the temple floor, her eyes wide with surprise and almost fear at the greatness the temple contains.

Gwaine bows his head again, dropping to both knees.

'Blessed are thee knights of the keep. May thine hearts be strong and thine faith be true.'

Amargein whispers 'Praise thee Father and your Son.'

Gwynn whispers 'Blessed it the Daughter for her generous and kind spirit'

In almost unison the voices of the three divine ring out 'Favored is Gareth's Keep'

With those final words, the presence slowly fades away.

Temple of Nadrik

The feeling of holiness is strong within this room. It seems to radiate

from each wall, object, person and even the air itself seems charged with

it. The alabaster floor of marble stretches out in front of you and makes

no sound as you walk upon it. A stone fountain separates two columns of

pews that face an altar in front of the western wall. A large tapestry is

hanging delicately on the western wall, just below it is a golden plaque.

Tristrim whispers 'Glory to God the Father, Son, and Daughter.'

Gwaine raises his voice in acclamation. " Unto to the Daughter, is this Keep's thanks. For all time, past, now and unto the End. "

Gwaine looks around, a fervent gleam lighting his eyes.

Gwynn speaks quielty from her prostrate position, 'Favored is Gareth's by virtue of having been gazed upon by the Holy Trinity.'

Gwaine says 'All ye of Gareth's know well the favour the Trinity have granted?'

Gwaine smiles at Gwynn.

Akasi removes a kerchief from his robe, dabbing under his helmet at something

Gwaine says 'Those bound by the spirit of the Trinity speak with one voice.'

Gwaine gestures to Gwynn to his side.

You say 'The Trinity of Patrons is true?'

Gwynn raises and moves slowly to Gwaine's side.

Gwaine says 'Know well, the Counsel to the Crown.'

Gwaine tips his head forward slightly in respect to Gwynn.

Gwaine looks at you.

Tristrim looks at you.

Gwaine says (to You) 'As it was, shall always be.'

Gwynn says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'I am honored, General and shall fulfill that duty as well as can be'

Gwaine smiles at Gwynn.

Gwaine says (to Gwynn) 'You shall be my right hand, and wisdom for my doubts.'

Gwaine says (to Gwynn) 'It shall not do to have you absent, m'lady Struan.'

Gwynn says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'I shall do what I can, General.'

Gwynn smiles.

You say 'The Justice shall hold up one wall, and the Lady will hold up the other.'

Gwaine says (to Gwynn) 'You shall do more, m'lady.'

Gwaine smiles at Gwynn.

Gwaine nods at you.

Gwynn says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'Tell me it doesn't involve stables and pitchforks..'

Gwynn grins.

Akasi says 'Character building'

Gwaine says 'Know well, ye all, the favoured of the Father.'

Gwynn says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'We shall know well the favored of the Son I believe'

Gwynn grins.

Gwaine chuckles.

Gwaine says (to Gwynn) 'We all serve as we can, unto out last breath's gasp.'

Amargein nods sagely.

Gwynn agrees with Gwaine.

Gwaine looks around to all gathered.

You say (to Gwaine) 'What is your will for Gareth milord?'

Gwaine says 'You have seen here greater than a Crown for this Keep, sirs and ladies.'

Gwaine says 'This day has wrought the Trinity.'

Daeryl quietly steps in and looks around.

Gwaine looks about to all assembled.

Gwynn says 'It was a day that we must get the scribes to write about'

Gwaine nods briefly at Gwynn.

Gwaine says 'There shall be many called to the task of leading this Keep ..'

Gwynn says 'One for the history books, no greater blessings have been shown to this keep since I stepped foot within'

Tristrim says (to Gwynn) 'T'is an honor to be present for such.'

Tristrim eats a loaf of traveler's bread.

Gwaine says 'But is shall not be many that witness the blessing of the Trinity.'

You say 'Milord may I speak?'

Gwaine says 'Know ye all well, this day of the Great Gods, in the month of the Heat.'

Acre goes white.

Tristrim looks at you.

Gwaine says 'For in the the furnace of the eternal Light shall we be all purified to take up her banner.'

Gwaine nods at you.

You say 'Milord, I have been examining the work of Colonel Leumas Circe.'

You say 'It... it seems that in his work which was based off a much older one that.. that this was...'

Acre pushes out the last breath.

You say 'Fortold.'

Daeryl stands quietly, leaning against the wall near the entrance and simply observing.

You say 'let me find the passage.'

Gwaine looks at you.

Gwynn looks about the temple with a thoughtful gaze.

You say '"In the writings as I have translated them there appeared to me a prophecy of sorts, the declaration of High Justice Duncan esth Caela that as Sir Tesalon Gareth was visited and charged by a Holy Trinity to found an Order of Knights dedicated to each the causes of Defending the Innocent, Destroying Evil, and Governing Justly, so though he ascended to leadership of the Knighthood, none should wear the mantle of Grand Master of the Knighthood again until such time as one was gifted by the Holy Trinity again to lead Gareth’s Keep."

Gwynn turns and listens to you.

Tristrim rises to his feet and folds his hands before him.

You say '"This person, gifted by the Holy Three would be called Grand Master and would lead Gareths Knights into the Final Battlethe battle by which Good would finally have victory conclusive over evil, and kindness, compassion, and virtue would reign supreme."'

Acre closes the book and gulps.

Tristrim looks at you.

Tristrim looks at Gwaine.

You say 'You appear to be.... '

You say 'your aura...'

You point at Gwynn.

You point at Gwaine.

You say 'A Prophecy has come to pass, yet it is not one of Shadow.'

Gwaine says (to You) 'Until the Son appears to pronounce such, none shall assume otherwise.'

You say 'But of Gareth.'

Gwynn smiles.

Gwaine says (to You) 'The Crown is honor above all else.'

Amargein agrees with Gwaine.

Daeryl narrows his eyes at you, yet remains silent.

Tristrim says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'This is true, my Lord... The forces of Darkness have been stirring in numbers and with focus more great than seen in the past. Perhaps the day of Judgement fast approaches.'

Amargein says (to You) 'Devion has attemped to trick us before. We can only trust the divine in such matters.'

Gwynn says 'We can let the scholars argue the point, for now let us bask in the favor of the Trinity'

Amargein nods at Gwynn.

You say 'I leave such judgement to the Crown milord, I am but a scholarly clerist.'

Gwaine says (to Tristrim) 'Judgement or not, it matter little, for all true of faith, each days end is a reckoning for which we account to our conscience and that of the Lord that lives within us,'

Tristrim nods at Gwaine.

Gwaine nods at Gwynn.

Gwynn says (to You) 'Thank you Squire, it is nice to hear those passages again after so many years'

You salute Gwaine.

Gwaine says 'It is not for title of place that we take up this, but for the furtherance of Him and His purpose.'

Gwaine says 'In the shining light of that which is His, all else pales.'

(Golden Aura) (Holy Aura) Gwynn is here.

(Golden Aura) (Holy Aura) Gwaine d'Aggravaine is here.

Tristrim says 'Yes, Sir.'

Gwaine 's eyes gleam fanatically.

Gwynn smiles.

Gwaine smiles grimly.

Gwaine says 'To all that witness this day, know well that which we are all bound.'

Gwaine says 'Honor and Goodness, and there is no lesser measures.'

Gwaine's gaze lingers from face to face.

You say 'Honor and Goodness.'

Gwaine says 'From all, an equal measure is demanded, and WILL be received.'

Daeryl nods once as Gwaine's gaze reachs him.

Gwaine says 'That is which is Gareth's.'

Gwynn says 'Goodness and Honor, General. So it shall be.'

Gwynn turns and extends her hand towards Gwaine, 'Congratulations once more, sir'

Gwynn smiles.

Gwynn walks south.

You ponder.

Acre opens a tome and starts reading.

Gwaine nods briefly.

Gwaine says 'Unless there urgent busines?'

Akasi says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'There is one thing'

Gwaine glances at Akasi.

Akasi kneels before Gwaine gravely drawing his sword and laying it upon the stones "Akasi Midnite, Knight of this Keep and Paladin to his Son, offers his service to this Lord Knight."

Gwaine says (to Akasi) 'Shall we examine this then. in the War Room?'

Tristrim stands off to the side, allowing Gwaine and Akasi a clear path to the doorway.

Gwaine says (to Akasi) 'Your oath is take as it has been unto this Keep, truly, there is none greater.'

Gwaine says (to Akasi) 'For in time. I shall pass, but this Keep is eternal.'

Akasi whispers 'Indeed, but such is always sworn to each Lord of this Keep'

Gwaine shakes his head.

Gwaine says (to Akasi) 'Each oath is unto the Light.'

Akasi says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'Which you now more than before, embody.'

You say 'This squire's sword remaining true to the light then milord.'

Acre draws his sword, touches it to his nose then replaces it in his scabbard.

Gwaine says (to Akasi) 'If this can be made to be true, then I shall rest in my eternal slumber content, but as now, tis but a begining.'

Akasi smiles.

Akasi says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'You will have the support you need'

Akasi nods sagely.

Akasi resheaths his sword taking back to his feet.

Tristrim says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'My current orders stand unchanged, Sir?'

Gwaine nods grimly at Akasi.

Akasi claps Gwaine on the shoulder.

Akasi says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'And there is no reason there can't be plenty of fun along the way'

Gwaine nods at Tristrim.

Gwaine says (to Akasi) 'There is a measure of satisfaction in the Light's fulfillment.'

Gwaine says (to Tristrim) 'I should like this day recorded, and made aware to those of the Faith.'

Tristrim nods at Gwaine.

Tristrim says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'Yes, Sir.'

Tristrim says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'Shall I record it in missive or within a book?'

Gwaine says (to Tristrim) 'A missive.'

Tristrim nods.

Amargein says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'Most holy day, sir.'

Amargein says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'Our keep shall do well by the Light.'

Amargein says (to Gwaine d'Aggravaine) 'I will continue with my duties now.'

Gwaine nods at Amargein.

Amargein walks south.
