Gnome Quest
Upon this scroll are writ notes and reports relating to the strange gnome golem crafter.
In Brief
Various devout were contacted by the Avatar of Austinian regarding a strange gnome crafter. This gnome had come upon mysterious powers no mortal should have, and could give his creations true life. It was revealed that the gnome intended to use his powers to craft an army to destroy the gods.
The forces of Good set out to find him before the forces of evil could find him and convince him to join them. The gnome had a magical forceshield which even the gods could not penetrate. A strange magic draining ioun stone was uncovered which would allow the bearer to enter the shield. Sir Reklah of the forces of Evil obtained such a device, along with Sir Stalderache, the Steel Dragon for the forces of Good.
In the end, gnome and creations perished in a firey blaze at the workshop. Found to be hidden in the ancient Keep south of Arkane City.

Dear friends and allies of the Light,
I fear our quest for the gnome is not yet complete. It has become apparent
that although the gnome died in the fire of the workshop, he did not work
alone. The messenger has urged us to search from the beginning. We must
find out who has the power and the will to want to do this. There has been
speculation but nothing solid as of yet.
I urge you all to go to your history books and explore your memories.
Search for any who would have the ability to control this gnome. The future
of our families, our homes and all others depend on us.
In closing I would also ask that we all keep Staldrache in our thoughts. He
has given so much and at such a cost. We are grateful our prayers have been
answered that he survived this ordeal but his memory has been severly
affected. Hopefully with rest he will recover over time.

My friends and fellow members of the Pantheon of Good, it has been some
time now since we have used to Ioun stone to find and remove the Gnomeish
threat. But, we were asked by the Father's Avatar to try to find who might
have been at the reins of this threat. I have not heard anything in some
time now, and wanted to know if there were any updates to be heard of. As
happy as I am to have one piece of the threat removed, an even greater
threat still looms with the unknown identity of the person who masterminded
the Gnome. I urge you all, anyone who has or may have some information to
please share it so we may discuss and try to coordinate our next course of
actions.
May the Father's Light Shine upon you all.
