Sorien: We of Greystoke Manor remember. We of Greystoke Fight.

To: Slayers and All of Algoron

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To those of Algoron who wish to remember,

The Slayers do not only war a battle in the physical. No, for it is the

very minds of Algoron we fight for.

There are three historal events I wish to review. The Dragons. The

Manatonics. The Vampires.

I pray that with these history lessons, Algoron will remember.

Sorien: The Firstborne and the Draconus.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Algoron,

One needs only gaze upon a Firstborne such a Immersa to understand her

horrible beauty. Her magnificent terror. She is both powerful, and

majestic. But she is subject to the same flaws of mind and decision.

For in the beginning, Dragons were made. But they bickered, and the Gods

themselves subjugated them with the Draconus. The gods knew they were, and

still are, a threat to Algoron.

While the Draconus was eventually lost, we of Greystoke remember the charge

of the Gods. Many people desire their favor for their skins and their

assistance in Kingdom Wars.

But we see them as flawed creatures that are a threat to all creation. With

their power, they corrupt our purposes to suit their goals, with the lure of

dragonskins and might in battle.

But their time is past, and they do not belong in our affairs. So to free

us from their tyranny, In righteousness We Doth Judge and Make War.

For All of Algoron, May She Be Cleansed.

Sorien: Manatonics, and the destruction of the Shinalstin

Algoron,

There is must history and speculation on the origins of the Manatonic

powers. Some say they are gifts from an unknown God. Others maintain, they

are a freakish anomaly unintended.

What we do know is that Manatonics can absorb the powers of one another.

And we of Greystoke remember Blake, a manatonic whose powers far outweighed

those of the Firstborne. It is said that Blake could slay another Manatonic

anywhere on Algoron - his mental reach was that great.

The Manatonics had more power than the Firstborne, so it goes without saying

they were even a greater threat to creation. In the end, a war against

Algoron and the Manatonics raged. By the aid of the Gods, the monks were

turned back.

The evidence of the battle is said to remain in the Dragon Vale.

Now, the precise details are unknown. But we do know that the powers of the

Manatonic, left unchecked, can eventually accumulate into a single,

unstoppable force.

Imagine, if a manatonic was able to not only gather powers, but an array of

loyal dragons and a kingdom's army? They would be nigh invincible, supreme

ruler of Algoron.

Fortunately that does not exist... Yet.

Greystoke remembers, and destroys the spread of the thauma to avoid another

cataclysm. In Rightouesness We Doth Judge and Make War. For All of

Algoron, May She Be Cleansed.

Sorien: Vampires, and the corruption of the most noble race.

Wed Nov 2 12:12:01 2011

To: Slayers and All of Algoron

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Algoron,

My retelling of the Vampire begins with the woman I loved - Freonna. She

was the most beautiful elven woman I've ever seen. Surely, if Zandreya and

Taliena were to fuse as one, Freonna would have been the result.

I met her in the days of my Squirehood in Gareth. While my mentoring Knight

was busy being infected by Vampirism, I spent many days.... And nights,

with her.

I loved her, but the truth of her enamors revealed itself eventually.

She wanted to use me to gain access to empowered weapons from Gareth.

For she was but a pawn of her vampire master in the Vallenwoods. She whored

her mind and body for the possibility of gaining undeath - the twisted

prison of immortality they offer.

And therein was the problem. The Vampires knew their powers were without

peer. They were unstoppable on the field. And they used that power to gain

wealth and literal harems to do their bidding.

In their selfishness, the vampirism spread like a plague throughout

Shalonesti. The most noble race in Algoron was turned into nothing more

than a large brothel where sex and money could buy you power. Even the

House Shalonost was involved.

Now, do not mistake me, it is not my goal to malign the Vallenwoods. Far

from it, I say again, the Elves are the most noble race. If their entire

structure was brought to the brink of destruction, where Zandreya herself

stepped in to purge, what hope do we have in resisting?

We of Greystoke remember the corruption of Algoron in the pursuit of

Undeath. We will stem it's growth, one undead destruction at a time.

In Righteousness We Doth Judge and Make War. For All of Algoron, May She Be

Cleansed.

Sorien: In conclusion.

Algoron,

We of Greystoke are of all faiths. All walks. We unite under the common

banner to rid us of that which would destroy us physically, or mentally.

If you wish to join us, it is not an easy road. But it is a noble one.

If you wish to war us, you forget your past, and are under the subjugation

of our oppressors.

If you wish our aid, you need but ask.

In Righteousness We Doth Judge and Make War.

For All of Algoron, May She Be Cleansed.
