The Healer Come

Sing, sing, for the Healer come,

Joy in seeing good work done,

Bright tidings simple and true,

Mending all that is in view,

Rejoice as Her heart be known,

Disease and hurt She will dethrone,

This you can rest assured,

Aliments, plagues, evil cured,

Broken; mended, no longer weak,

Fearful; tended, no longer meek,

Siccara's strength blessed and won,

Sing, Sing for the Healer come.

<>+<>+<> <>+<>+<>

Gentle Giver

Dear Siccara, healer, gentle giver,

Sweeping away evil, a cleansing river,

Wash away the stains on my soul,

Teach me the healer's role,

Compassion for the weak and frail,

Give grace to them without fail,

The gift to see the broken remade,

The joy to see painful wounds fade,

From evil gentle hands will deliver,

Open my heart to be a gentle giver.

<>+<>+<> <>+<>+<> <>+<>+<>

Gifts Returned

Do not fear, do not quake,

Once weak, strong we will make,

Generosity abound is our way,

In giving we grow, day by day,

Refrain:

Once weak, we have grown, learned,

The gifts we take, moreso returned,

Gifted to sing again,

Voices lift to our mending refrain.

With body weak and heart strong,

Hope a gift all can pass along,

All who are willing, all who are able,

Bring gifts to Siccara's table,

(Refrain)

To give one's all does not drain,

We are renewed in Goodness' flame,

To see our torch carried on,

Our hope will light the great beyond.

(Refrain)

<>+<>+<> <>+<>+<> <>+<>+<>

Second Chance

Renew, mend, begin again,

A second chance, Siccaran,

Our mistakes repaired, forgiven,

Blunders past, folly of youth,

Dire wounds from knife and tooth,

Healed again by simple truth,

Wrongs done, evil's mistake,

Unknowing which path to take,

With compassion we remake,

Renew, mend, begin again,

A second chance, Siccaran,

Our mistakes repaired, forgiven.

<>+<>+<> <>+<>+<>

Healing Rain

Healing rain, healing rain,

Wash away sorrow and pain,

Soothe and nourish the lost,

Healer's touch, warm and soft,

In Her embrace, be healed,

Return hope to the field,

Healing rain, healing rain,

No despair will remain,

Cleansed and purified,

Washed away tears cried,

To the Healer I kneeled,

Life's hope and joy revealed,

Sunlit colors, Siccara's name,

Healing rain, healing rain.

<>+<>+<> <>+<>+<>

Psalm for Siccara

Oh gentle touch of My Lady,

Show me what doth have need,

Grant me vision to weakness see,

To give support, wounds relieved,

Grace to protect from harm,

Strength to imbue righteous arm,

Healer, let me help to soothe,

What hurts and rents evil wrought,

Broken hearts breath and move,

Mended by the touch You taught,

Siccara's grace sets bones right,

Hale, pure to guard through night.

Her Care

Compassionate daughter, thanks for Your care,

When I have done wrong, I will not despair,

Mending, healing, uplifting feeling,

With You, poison is cleansed from the air.

Knowledgeable Healer, thanks for Your care,

When I need insight, your inspiration is there,

Teaching, searching, maladies curing,

With You, nothing is beyond repair.

Protective Mother, thanks for Your care,

When I do right, guard me as a bear,

Defending, nurturing, great strength lending,

With You, I can meet Evil's black stare.

Healing Goddess, thanks for Your care,

Your glory exalted in each life You spare,

Giving, growing, graciously showing,

When all seems lost, You are there.

Many Songs

Healing song sung, lilting notes through Keep,

Echoes in stone halls where knights pray,

Healing song sung, over wheat field and hay,

Rhythms of life, the farmer will plow, sow, reap.

Healing song sung, soothing choir of church,

Quietly serene as the priests devoutly chant,

Healing song sung, staccato of city's cant,

Generosity be found in even the fishmonger's perch.

Healing song sung, winding in green wood,

Soothing beast and tree, the woodsman guides,

Healing song sung, crescendo with the tides,

Guiding sailors safely to harbors good.

Healing song sung, penetrating deep earth,

Resounding in miner, seeking treasures be,

Healing song sung, inspiring in university,

Teaching students to find a theory's worth.

Whatever I choose do, wherever I choose be,

Siccara's song will whisper life into me.

Additional Songs and Writings

Four Things

Four important things a Siccaran needs to remember:

Humility, so to be willing to learn, and be willing to serve others and

Goodness.

Compassion, to understand the pains and troubles of others, and seek to aid

them.

Wisdom, to rightly decide what must be done to cure an illness, disorder, or

fix an evil.

Fortitude, to endure hardship, difficulty, and unpleasantness to see a

treatment through to ensure the patient is healed.

Lady, blessed are the gifts You grant,

Amidst ash, flowers you carefully plant,

Transform weakness, pain into strength,

To heal wounds what may take great length,

You grant us endurance to endure,

To work endlessly to make the world pure,

You grant us compassion to relate,

To wish to see to see suffering abate,

You grant us humility to serve,

Willingness to hold nothing in reserve,

You grant us wisdom to know the cure,

To seek knowledge, truth to be sure,

In joy to the Healer I sing and chant,

Lady, blessed are the gifts you grant.

A Beacon

Where there is trouble,

Where there is storm,

Be there to sift through the rubble,

Be there to heart warm,

If one is lost in the cold,

Confused and needing courage,

Reach to return them to the fold,

Cheer, teach, sing and encourage,

Matters not your place or station,

Each has a gift of healing to give,

Meet each task with elation,

And more the life you will give,

Humble healer or sacred devout,

Seek tirelessly each hopeless plea,

Reach within and give without,

A beacon of hope for all to see.

Song of Thanks

You succor in times of want,

Guide us to deep flowing font,

Wise, pure, alive, hearts beat true,

Generous Goddess, thank you,

You strengthen when we feel week,

So our arms may gird the meek,

Healthy, pure, mighty, hearts beat true,

Great Goddess, we sing to you,

You heal what evil would break,

Our dire nightmares you unmake,

Soothe, cleanse, awake, hearts beat true,

Watchful Goddess clears our view,

What song, thanks can I give,

For She who ensures we may live,

Wise, pure alive, hearts beat true,

For Siccara, we thank you.

Look Around

Look around, blessed to see,

Simple hand offered thee,

A single hope and word,

Your pleas will be heard,

Never are you alone,

In giving we are known,

Reach, healer, take my hand,

Together we will stand,

Where there were not any,

Healed, now we are many,

Stronger, wiser, blessed more,

Eager hands by the score,

Prayers said, bones set, wounds dressed,

The broken returned, blessed,

Look around, glad to see,

You alive beside me.

One Word

Words sung and said,

We ask to go to our head,

Teach us what work needs done,

Inspire us to see battles won,

Words guide when we're apart,

We ask to go to our heart,

Move us to give to others,

Inspire us to heal one another,

One act, one gift, one word,

Even small or barely heard,

Grows and blooms as we give,

Healing the world we live.

The Unicorn

Spirals of warmth ascending in song

borne on graceful hoofbeats

hearts pattering and growing strong

the graceful horn melody joyfully bleats

calling wisdom to my side

with soft and warm snow white

wash away painful tears cried

Spiraling songs to warm all right.

A Prayer for Wisdom

Preserve, prevent,

Goddess, Your power lent,

Endure, hold fast,

No evil will ever last,

Enjoin, show, teach,

Wisdom we beseech,

In prayerful word,

Guide shimmering sword,

Alchemist's measure,

To protect life's treasure.

A Prayer for Those We Meet

Tue Jan 18 15:56:42 2011

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blessed each step,

By all I met,

Winding way,

Convoluted course,

Hope will stay,

You its blessed source,

Healing pains,

Our joy remains,

Every step,

By all we met.

Song of Healing

Song of healing, blessed and true,

Drink deep Goodness' strength,

Overflowing power to renew,

Hold fast for any length,

Never falter, never break,

Healer, our stand we make.

Song of healing, from one, two,

My comrades I stand beside,

With them hope is in view,

Healed, again they ride,

Never fear, never forsake,

Healer our stand we make.

Song of healing, faith in you,

Music to guide our way,

Sing from battle to pew,

To gentle matron we pray,

The spark of hope will wake,

Healer, our stand we make.

Song of healing, blessed and true,

Restore those who fell,

Hope that none will eschew,

Siccara's pure well,

Ring strong victory bell,

In Her heart we dwell,

Never falter, never break,

Healer, our stand we make.

Persevere

Persevere, champion, persevere,

Our matron is ever near,

Beloved by Her,

Our hearts stir,

To mend any wrong,

To make the weak strong,

Persevere, champion, persevere,

Walk your path with naught to fear,

We will not break,

To evil's rake,

Beset at every step,

Each challenge met,

Persevere, champion, persevere,

Though Hell's flames char and sear,

Climb each mountain,

Drink life's fountain,

Blessed, pure, She will renew,

All hearts that stay true,

On the path that Honor will steer,

Persevere, champion, persevere.

A Song for Siccara's Faithful

Sat May 28 00:04:09 2011

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pray, rejoice in the simple sum,

Of glowing hearts with good deeds done,

In Siccara's name hope renewed,

With every healing song bard brewed,

Drink deep of health for tomorrow,

Dispel the diseases of woe,

Rise child and take to the field,

Sing Her blessed name with each soul healed,

Rejoicing in Her good work done,

Our hearts grow greater than our sum!

Not Alone

Sun Jun 12 23:40:18 2011

I gaze out over the dark world,

Wonder if I can stand my own,

Travel the perilous path shown,

Against the rocks I am hurled.

Chorus:

Hark, hero, you are not alone,

The Healers hand upon our heart,

Together we face the unknown,

No evil can tear us apart.

Hope our banner blazing, unfurled,

We will seek the broken and hurt,

Illness and death we will divert,

No more will suffer, imperiled.

(Chorus)

Look for us out in the dark world,

We offer our hands as Her own,

Reach out to Her gift and be known,

Siccara's name we will herald.

(Chorus)

The Call

Harken, harken, gather all,

Harken, harken, to the call,

Together we stand, sound and strong,

Together we share hope and song,

When I sing, it is for you,

Answer in chorus and we renew,

Her gift to all we must share,

Lest the lands become cold and bare,

In giving of life all around,

Soon in Goodness we are surround,

Harken, harken, gather all,

Harken, harken, to the call,

Together we stand, sound and strong,

Together we share hope and song!

Nadrik and Siccara

Blessed are we to have another,

To aid in our works, as a brother,

Who stands his ground and guards the fore,

So safely we walk field and moor,

Dismal and cursed places we heal,

With Justice and Compassion’s meal,

We nourish and protect the weak,

For them love and joy we seek,

Tirelessly together as sister and brother,

Blessed to protect one another.

Hope for the Battle Worn

Thu Oct 6 14:35:16 2011

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gentle healer of the battle torn,

Rest and hope for the battle worn,

Wounds from haste, torn by fears,

Horrors of war, Kadiya's tears,

Fall upon ruined ground,

The sighs of war's sorrows sound,

Alongside victory's trumpet call,

Hope for tomorrow, heroes stand tall,

Against dark ruin and bloodied field,

This we must walk and see healed,

Bless and heal what battle has torn,

Rest and hope for the battle worn.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Prayer

Tue Oct 25 21:41:23 2011

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Song of the heavens,

Song of the true heart,

Sung from deep within,

There healing will start,

Share in the blessings,

Share in thanksgiving,

Give voice to your joy,

At each point living,

Offer up your pain,

Give up your anger,

She sings, soothes, strengthens,

Singing together,

Reach out in your song,

Endless once you start,

She dwells deep within,

Sharing with your heart.

Restore

Breath, restore,

The Goddess grants life evermore,

Live again,

She graces each new day we begin,

Weak uplift,

Carry them with Her blessed gift,

Stand, endure,

Her power makes the world pure,

Hope restore,

The Goddess grants life evermore.

In Service to Siccara

Tue Mar 20 14:12:57 2012

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Purity of service, simple and true,

The work of a healer, restore, renew,

To give our all to others, toil, quest,

In giving is Her gift realized and blessed,

Hers is the work of many wise hands,

Healers, alchemists, traveling the lands,

Hers is the power, and this we deliver,

To dispel, quench each feverish shiver,

We cleanse the maladies that hide from sight,

Pestilence dissipates at sacred rite,

Purity of service, simple and true,

The work of a healer, restore, renew.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Psalm: Siccara's Gifts and Hope

Tue Aug 7 13:55:47 2012

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

She is hope to renew all with life's song,

In Her Name, in Her Way, we may right wrong,

Cures to treat each malady, hurt, and plague,

Healing for broken, battered, arm and leg,

Knowledge of body, plant, stone remedy,

Humility, patience, aid as need be,

Clean waters to nourish flesh and bone,

Direction for the lost to find safe home,

Soothing truth and reason for the mazed mind,

With Siccara's open heart, health will find,

She is hope to renew all with life's song,

In Her Name, in Her Way, we may right wrong.

Cleansing Hope

Keep hope within your heat, dear one,

It is from there healing springs run,

Pure water flows, washing away,

Cleansing rot, disease and decay,

Cry, but in sorrow do not dwell,

Each of us is a holy well,

Drawing water with a helpful hand,

Each teardrop curing sickly land,

Keep hope within your heart, dear one,

Flowing through you, a cure will come.

The Three Principals of Good

Truth

Goddess, may we prove our path sure,

Sound as stone, one song rings bright, pure,

Clear Truth which we seek as good knights,

Who bring not just swords to our fights,

Great battles won with tome at hand,

With care, wisdom, we learn the land,

Vast riddles, who and why and where,

Melt away evil's guise with care,

Algoron's poisons we will cure,

Siccara's Truth guide our blades sure.

Love

Love of life, sacred hope,

Strength to do what we must,

When we need aid to cope,

Hold us close in sacred trust,

To renew the broken,

Heal, and know joy in life,

Goddesses have spoken,

Kindness, mercy end strife,

This the charge of a knight,

For love of life we fight.

Courage

Goddess grant strength to endure,

To move forward and see the world pure,

Demonic terrors, claws of pain,

We form the wall of evil's bane,

Stand! Defy terror's shrill death call,

Our life imbued we shall stall tall,

No matter the bleak odds, we march on,

Blessing and healing to right each wrong,

Battling the storm to see the innocent ashore,

Courage grants us the power to endure.

The Knightly Virtues

Compassion

Blessed knight of the heart,

Let love guide your blade,

Compassion ends vengeance's start,

Empathy, our Matron does bade,

Seek reason and understanding,

Bravely reach with open hand,

Love and lift pain and suffering,

With open heart, dare to stand,

Vengeance, pain, an endless circle,

Heal, lest we all come apart,

Rejoice in Siccara's miracle,

Blessed knight of the heart.

Honor

Stay, Healer, at your brother's side,

Keep near, honor, gently confide,

Share your heart and defy your fears,

Together strong, all know hope nears,

Respected healer, truth in hand,

Carries the means to heal the land,

Of the diseases born of lies,

Which would poison hearts and blind eyes,

Guarding the way forward, dear guide,

With honor the healer will ride.

Sacrifice

What would we give, loved healer maid?

Working to see evil unmade,

With each sacrifice, small and blessed,

By hope contained for all the rest,

Who remain, touched, loved, cleansed of woe,

Lifted by healing hearts we grow,

Greater, than the riches given,

In long nights of service, driven,

To courage, see love and uphold,

The one Good cause as knights of old,

Who gave all so hope never fade,

This to You we give, healer maid.

Humility

Vast the powers of our goddess,

Wounds closing instantly before us,

She maintains this quiet grace,

Mending as she passes place to place,

In need of hope, this granted with a smile,

Approachable, yet strong, to face any trial,

Great or small, eager to do what must,

To ensure goodness spread, to gain trust,

That others know we serve them,

Who need aid, not vainglory's whim,

Discharging what duty She commands us,

Penitent before our humble goddess.

Valour

Be brave, Siccara's Knight,

Who stands firm against evil's blight,

'Ere it take under our land,

If none would reach out their hand,

To give compassion in sorrow,

To offer hope for tomorrow,

Grasp that bright star in fear,

Know the Healer stands ready, near,

To close thy wounds and cure blight,

Inspiring courage in Her Knight.

Spirituality

Blessed bearer of the Sacred Shield,

To You I come and my heart yield,

In prayer, contemplation reverent,

I seek Truth, Love, and Courage sent,

Imbue my inner heart and flame,

Faith in comrade, cause, and Your name,

The hopefire that quenches pain's thirst,

Floods my soul with joy, pain dispersed,

Scattered as stars, bright on dark field,

This inner joy, our Sacred Shield.

Honesty

Blessed and pure upon your quest,

No truth will go unconfessed,

Word and deed matching heart,

A knight cannot be torn apart,

By evil’s lies or cruel wrath,

Nor diverted from the righteous path,

Lit with a inner truth sincere,

Ringing out for all to hear,

The hope of Siccara’s most blessed,

To know Her trust a knight can attest.

Justice

With the Goddess' ride forth, dear Knight,

Seeking Truth with an open heart,

Warmed by the joy to bring forth right,

For those suffering Evil's art,

Bring what belongs to honest hands,

Heal that harm which was done with love,

Deliver tirelessly Truth's demands,

Her judgment, forgiveness above,

Guides you wisely in every fight,

That you may serve as a Just Knight.

Takyle: A poem to the Lady Siccara

Wed Aug 25 03:54:20 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dame Amberillo,

While I am not a follower of the Lady Siccara, my secretary passed your

missive on to me. Perhaps they believe that I need some healing, or they

knew of my lust for songs psalms and hymns. I suspect that Thulawen is not

paying them enough. Seeing as I had your fine missive in my hot little

hand, I decided to turn my considerable poetry skills towards the Lady. Use

as you see fit, or not at all.

Leotie: A Siccaran Prayer

Sat Apr 2 13:10:56 2011

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Siccaran Prayer

A flower with petals falling

drops of rain gathered on the tips of leaves

in the woods - wolves calling

on the battlefield beside a rusted set of greaves.

The wind harsh with sand

and salt in the waves of the ocean deeps

a cut upon a weathered hand

a wound from which blood slowly seeps.

We stand before the weary

with arms to support those who are weak

grant us the strength to be

that we may be found by those who seek.

Prayer in Flight

by Leotie Shiroken

Swaying as a dancer in flight,

wing extended like rays of sun.

Clear skies without a cloud in sight,

wind like the touch of a loved one.

In a moment all wounds washed clean,

heart is stilled with baited breathing.

In floating space like drifts in dream,

all the pain is only fleeting.

One with the vastness of the sky,

just like a tree is not a bear.

Your gifts still keep me flying high,

I continue because you care.

Healing Beauty

by Leotie Shiroken

A drop of water slowly pooling,

like a teardrop still left unfallen.

Petals quivering like a bell rings,

and, like rain, the drops fall without end.

The sun strikes rain in blazing light,

scattered to a rainbow across the floor.

Like gems tossed across our field of sight,

then they fade away leaving no more.

A simple touch that draws a smile,

healing the unseen wounds of the soul.

Sometimes it might take awhile,

but simple beauty can mend one whole.
