The Page
o Page may speak in public, with the sole exception of addressing Gareth Keep itself. They must remain polite, respectful, and mindful of their station or rank in the Keep.
2. When addressing any senior member of Knighthood, including Squires, Knights, Officers or the Generals themselves, a page must remember to use a term of respect: Sir, Sire, Dame, Lord or Lady. A Page may also refer to an Officer or General by their rank, such as General, Colonel, etcetera.
3. A Page will always follow the orders of a senior member of Knighthood, unless a Knight or Officer of higher rank specifically overrules them.
4. A Page will never require the services of a member of higher rank. The Page may request assistance, but must understand that those of higher rank may have duties to attend to and may not be able to help the page immediately.
5. A Page must never attack a fellow member of Knighthood unless the situation is an arranged duel. To do so is grounds for immediate dismissal.
The Squire
squire of Knighthood must have served as a page for some significant time of service determined by any ranked officer. Upon reaching this specified time of service, a Page can petition a Knight of the Keep to teach them more Knighthood's discipline, beliefs and traditions.
2. Squires must abide by all requirements specified for Pages in the Code of Conduct.
3. A squire must, without hesitation, come to the assistance of their mentoring Knight and abide by all requirements, duties, or chores set upon them by their Knight.
4. A squire must serve his or her Knight with due diligence and respect.
The Knight
fter having served as a squire for an appropriate amount of time, the mentoring Knight may request that their squire be considered for Knighthood. The sponsoring Knight must provide adequate proof of the squire's accomplishments before the squire will be considered. The squire must have proven themselves through adherence to the policies and beliefs of the Order. The squire must also have proven themselves possessed of the full knowledge of the disciplines, beliefs and traditions of the Order.
2. Knights of the Keep must adhere to all requirements detailed in sections of the Code of Conduct with the sole exception of being allowed to speak outside the walls of the Keep. Knights should however reserve this privilege for times of need and must keep in mind humility and respect at all times.
3. Further duties of Knights of Gareth's Keep include but are not limited to:
Providing protection for the weak and needy.
Providing training and teaching to members of lower rank.
Answering a cry of need from allies of the Keep.
Providing leadership during scouting assignments and protective actions against the forces of darkness.
4. A Knight is held responsible not only for all of his or her own actions and words but also for any squires under his or her command.
5. A Knight is responsible for enforcing all policies dictated by the Generals of Knighthood. These policies include but are not limited to Treaties, Pacts, Traditional Agreements and this Code of Conduct.
