Sumo Museum and Tokyo University

Like most of the free museums in Tokyo, the Sumo Museum was rather sparse. However, we got to see many old sumo paintings, the history of famous sumo wrestlers and we watched a video showing the Sumo moves.

After the Sumo museum, we searched 3 hotels to try and find our 3rd and last copy of our beloved Metropolis Magazine. However, there are only 30, 000 copies available in Tokyo at select hotels and stores, so we didn't find it. We took the subway to Ginza and eventually found in at HMV. It's Japan's number 1 English magazine and we love it and the associated Metpod podcast.

We spent our last few hours of our last day in Tokyo exploring the Tokyo University. The old buildings on the ground are beautiful and we enjoyed reading under this tree. The cat was a little jealous that were were sharing her tree.

It's a replica from Britain. What a surprise.
