Geocaching en Francais

On our first day in Paris, Colin and I found a geocache right across from the Eiffel tower. It was in a really neat fake rock shaped container in a park with spires that depict all different languages. We left a Toonie because it contained quite a bit of change from different countries.

The second cache we found was in a square by the Louvre museum. It was so cool because Colin and I have always wanted to find a geocache at the same time as someone else or see someone else finding one and the closest we've ever come is finding a cache that had the log book signed on the same day we visited the cache. As Colin and I walked closer to the corner the GPS was leading us too we saw two French men with their cell phone GPS. They were looking on the wall and behind the wall and we realized they were geocaching. On guy spoke English and they were just on a lunch break and fairly new to geocaching. Colin found it and then we all took turns finding the log with their pen. We traded our fish from Dublin, Ireland for a Canada coin travel bug. The Canada coins goal is to travel all over Europe so we're going to place it in a cache in Greece.

The third geocache we found was on a bridge with a great view of the Eiffel Tower.

We have found 4 other micro caches in Parc de la Villette. Most of them were hidden under bridges or benches so they weren't too hard to find. The park is really cool with a playground for kids, mini fair, a garden of mirrors, a submarine and a huge dome. They were pretty easy finds, but in a park that huge, it leaves me wondering does no one in Pairs hide caches that are bigger than a micro?
