You guessed it. I have been working on my packing and downsizing list of things to bring since the first day we started planning our trip. I tried to find a light weight and affordable bag that works as a backpack, duffel, and a rolling bag and I finally found one at Costco. I bought a red Roots rolling duffel that also has backpack straps too. It also weighs 11.99 lbs or 5.45 Kg, which isn't too bad. I should also be okay because I am only bringing two pairs of shoes with me too-my runners and me Tevas.
We did a lot of research and read a lot of sample packing lists and packing articles online. Our goal is to have about two weeks worth of clothes for almost all weather (the coldest it should be is +5C).
Colin's Stuff (main bag = 20kg, carry on bag = 8kg)
Serena's Stuff (only a sample; main bag = 21kg, carry on bag = 5kg)
