Lake Garda Geocaching

On October 06, 2009, Colin and I hopped on bikes and spent an afternoon geocaching in Lake Garda.

We found our first cache under a bridge by the Lake. It was called {bUbI_tEaM} Bardolino, nice view.

The second cache was also not far from the lake in a wall near the highway. It was called Garda on Garda. Colin and I were both about to stick our hand in the hole where we thought the cache was, but Colin stepped forward and a green snake slithered into a crack in the wall. It scared us but he was so fast we didn't even have time to take a picture.

There is also a great view of a nice private beach by this cache. I went swimming here.

We were going to find a third geocache that was up a hill, but a after 1 km (not even half way) of bikiing up a steep and twisty road with no space for bikes (there are quite a few bike lanes on most roads) we decided to turn back.
