Coventry's Clever Cathedral

Today, Sandy, Christopher, Cynth, Warwick and I took the bus to Coventry. We saw

the old cathedral and the new cathedral. I liked the old one best, but the new one was

nice too. All the windows are made of stained glass. There was an A and H bomb display and it was really sad to see pictures of children who were affected by the bombs. There was also a chain of cranes that the children created too.

We had a nice lunch at Wetherspoon for only 3.99 each. I had chili and they also had lots of pastas and sandwiches to choose from for the same price. Warwick explained to us that they usually have such inexpensive beer because it's a bit older out of the barrel. Therefore, you can get a pint for just under 2 pounds which is a great deal.

Our last stop was the Transport museum. We saw many old buses and motorcycles. My Dad would have liked to walk around there.

Colin also visited with my family today. He hung out with Jane, Claire and Gadget while he caught up on editing our photos for the week, posting our blogs and sending emails. To see some of those photos, you can view the 58 photos from this day here.
