London to Nuneaton Weekend

We took a super speedy virgin train from London to Coventry and then we took another train from Coventry to Nuneaton. We've just made it onto our first train in time, so we've learned that we need to leave with more time to spare so we can leave wiggle room for the unexpected. Warwick was worried that he might not recognize us (since he last saw me when I was 12) and I had the same worry, but we found each other right away. It was a short drive to his house and we were instantly welcomed with a cup of tea.

Sandy and Christopher arrived at their house about a week ago. We had a great weekend and went out for roast on Sunday. Roast was a large meal that included beef, some sort of biscuit, fried potatoes, jacket potatoes, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and of course roast beef. For our sweets, we had a soup bowl size of crumble with ice cream, but we could have had custard or cream on top too.

One of the highlights of the day had to be the very cool Car that Stewart had done a lot of bodywork to. It's an older MG "midget" that he completely re-did the body of to give it a more modern look. And, I think he definitely succeeded.

And as usual, here and here are two albums with more pics if you'd like to check them all out:
