Written Reflection:

These are 14 images that I took that show a variety of techniques. When we were doing digital photography, we focused on learning different subjects, techniques, compositions and elements to work with. When working with film photography we focused on learning how to alter our images in different and unique ways that weren't just plain and boring. For the first photo in my breadth, I used an altered developing process. When developing the photo, I used a paint brush to apply the developer rather than just dunking it in like usual. The second photo in my breadth is a cyanotype I created. I used a light sensitive piece of fabric and put a transparency on top of it and took it outside to be exposed. The third photo in my breadth is one I took digitally, and I used Photoshop to selectively color the pink paperclip. The fourth photo in my breadth is a photo of my cat that I used Photoshop to make monochromatically pink. The fifth photo in my breadth is one I took and selectively recolored with watercolors. The sixth photo in my breadth is a photogram I made by printing a transparency of a collage I made in Photoshop and making a print of it. The seventh photo in my breadth is one I took digitally of an abstract shadow I found. The eighth photo in my breadth is a self portrait that I selectively colored using Photoshop. The ninth photo in my breadth is of the sky that I printed to look sort of pop-arty. The tenth photo in my breadth is of flowers with a sheer curtain in front of them. The eleventh photo in my breadth is a print of my dog and brother that I extended the border of. The twelveth photo in my breadth is an extended exposure photo I took of me making a shape with a sparkler. The thirteenth photo in my breadth is a print of a negative that I altered by scratching.
